Fantastic

Wonderful quiet place with a delicious breakfast. Cooked breakfast to order each morning with fresh fruit, yoghurt,cerials bread and home-made preserves! Lovely and peaceful, close to the village, but also in a quiet area. The host was also really friendly and helpful.

Fantastic stay in a grand building

Spotless, grand Victorian home. Just about the most welcoming and helpful host/manager you could hope to meet - there were plenty of suggestions for activities in the area and how to get around. Right on the edge of town, which itself wasn't huge. All sorts of small amenities were on offer.

Great place to stay

Great place to stay cannot fault anything and would highly recommend.Round the corner from Windermere shops etc and not far to walk into Bowness. Fabulous host very helpful and friendly,fantastic breakfast lovely room with very comfy beds and gorgeous toiletries. Had a lovely stay would like to have stayed longer but will definitely return.

A great place to stay in Windermere!

Perfect stay at this lovely B&B. Very comfortable room with a great bed, beautiful linens and all the right touches. Super-delicious breakfast, including dietary accommodations. Best of all, the host is very responsive and has loads of recommendations for all things Windermere and surrounding areas.

Fantastic stay - comfortable, spacious and clean accommodation. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Lots of options for all dietary requirements. Nothing was too much for Hilton. Great value. I would highly recommend.

Excellent B&B, spotless, large comfortable room, with good attention to detail, and extras, like fresh ground coffee, fresh milk etc. Breakfasts amazing, cooked fresh to order. Hilton our host very helpful and full of local knowledge. 3 mins to town centre and 15 mins to Bowness centre on foot. Best B&B we have stayed in. Highly recommend.

We had the most fantastic long weekend at 1 Park Road. The house is immaculate with excellent attention to detail, very comfortable and in a great location. The scenery is spectacular and travelling by bus is incredibly easy from here, but Windermere itself has a great selection of pubs, cafes, shops and restaurants. Hilton is the most wonderful host, we had everything we needed and were very well looked after. He has a wealth of knowledge to share about the area and makes a delicious breakfast! I highly recommend staying here and we would love to return soon!

Lovely house , big rooms . Close to public transport , shops etc and 25 min walk down to the lake. Friendly knowledgeable host . Delicious breakfast cooked to order , various options available. There is also a cosy lounge to relax in as an alternative to the bedrooms.
