Could give zero stars. Did not stay because they could not accommodate for a handicapped person even though their website said they could when we made the reservation. We learned this a couple of days before the event we were going to, hotels were full. Manager to assist was only available between 7-3pm! We ended up not going to our event!
Love the Inn on Storrs! Rooms are clean and comfortable. I appreciate the small refrigerator, microwave, and indoor pool. Location is convenient to family, restaurants and shopping. I will stay again!

Understaffed. Our room was clean, but dingy. We understood from people who had stayed there years ago, it was known as “Worst Western “.
There is a scented fan in the hallways and the smell they’re pumping through the building is NAUSEATING. It is so so strong. Even with towels at the bottom of the door, the scent had me up all night. On checkout the receptionist just stared at me when I told him the complaint. No excuse, answer, or apology. The room was clean otherwise. Rooms on the 2nd floor— there is no elevator. Honestly my worst hotel experience. Look somewhere else
The room should be updated, AC was requesting to change filter, bathtub was a little dirty. I don’t know if the rules is for everyone but the front desk told not to still anything from the room anything. I have been in other hotels, but this is the first time.
Staff were very welcoming and everything was spotless. Mattress and pillows were very firm. Breakfast included a mostly prepackaged rolls/muffins but there was also yogurt, apples, oranges and bananas as well as instant oatmeal so you could have a healthy version if that is what you are seeking. Very quiet property and conveniently located to various places in central CT.
Pool had too much chlorine in it. It was burning my eyes and also caused my kids to cough and we had to pull them out The smell of it was also unbearable
The property was close to our destination and it was easy to get there. The price was reasonable and it was convenient to check in with our late arrival.
The hotel is small and cozy. It’s about a 10-15 minute drive from the UConn campus. Grab and go breakfast and coffee in the morning. Next door to a supermarket. We didn’t have a chance to check out the pool or fitness center. The walls are like paper and you could hear people running up and down the hallway, but not very late at night. We will stay here again when we come up to visit UConn.
