Do not stay here
This motel is horrible. Dead bugs on the floors and bed. Mold around the shower in the bathroom. We immediately returned to the front desk and cancelled our reservation and still got charge one nights cancellation fee. Ridiculous for uninhabitable conditions.

Apon my arrival around 1130pm the room I reserved was not available and they gave me a king size bed. I reserved a double bed. Then they told me they had someone check into the room for only 15 minutes however, there was no pillows, towels, nightstand or blankets. Trash was everywhere and there was empty Suboxone wrappers on the floor

Nothing was clean! There were long brown hairs all over the bathroom and the bathroom smelled like pee. The floors were disgusting. Not only had they not been vacuumed in a while but spills and spots everywhere. The pull out couch bedding had not been cleaned. When we pulled it out there were crumbs and dirt all over it. A gnat flew out from one of the bed pillows when we arrived. The balcony door would not open. Friday night there were drunk men staggering all throughout the building making it feel unsafe.

Not worth the price
Stayed here with my family. Room wasn’t very clean. Beds were awful. Worst part was the bathroom had mold, the toilet was keeping and overall the cleaning standards weren’t great. For $124 I expected more then a hotel 8.

I did not feel safe at this hotel. We heard noises all night long which made it feel like anyone could break in at any time. The curtains did not cover the windows and there was a light we could not turn off. The tub had stains and spiders in it. The smell of the room was so antiseptic smelling that it burned our noses and made it seem like they were trying to cover up something horrendous. Overall an experience that I will NOT be repeating.

The property was very clean and well kept. The room had a few issues though. There was a cook too but you couldn’t use it. No pans were available and it is an induction cook top. You need special pan for it. I reported you that the phone didn’t work but you that was not taken care of. The toilet was also not sitting on its base correctly. That was reported but not fixed while we were there. I hope it was after we left. Everything else was fine. Throughly enjoyed the stay.

This was an absolute Sh*t hole. So dirty, smelled Awful. Booked only for the convenience of breakfast and they had an excuse of “it’s Covid” so the breakfast they offered was an apple and a bottle of water. Bathroom was filthy, bed was even worse, the floors haven’t been washed in weeks, locks weren’t working and staff was unhelpful with trying to set up internet which they couldn’t figure out how to use. Absolutely disgusted and disappointed.

Too much to type, but in a nutshell the room was not clean,Old wash cloths and towels were in the sink. The floor was dirty and not mopped. They were doing construction in the next room so we heard everything. Just a terrible experience.

Finding anything positive about Suburban Extended Stay Williamsburg is nearly impossible. No cover on an electrical outlet. Metal screws, drips, crumbs, trash on vinyl floors. Odor of cig & weed on curtains along w/stains. All wood furniture - bed, end table, square table were chipped, water stained, and dusty. Dirty bathroom faucet and counter, leak under bathroom sink plugged w/paper towels. No hair dryer. No cover on ironing board-simply metal mesh. Outside is grubby & reeks of weed. Bathroom vent is a security issue. To enter the room, door must be forcefully pushed by a large, strong person making an emergency evacuation dangerous. One lamp, no chairs -- just 2 double beds for sitting/sleeping/working on laptop. Dirty fridge. No pots/pans/cooking utensils. Beds squeaked every time we repositioned our one-per-person pillow. Sliding glass door could be an archaeological dig; it had years of accumulated grime in the track and on the surface. People were sitting around on the outside walkways. Long time since anyone cleaned up trash from the parking lot or cleaned the elevator. Dried up brush piled up around the parking lot. Most of these issues simply involve cleaning not a huge outlay in infrastructure, but no one seems to bother or be bothered. If this is what a remodel looks like, this place must have been uninhabitable before. Pictures are unbelievably misleading; this disgusting "motel" hasn't been given more than a swipe in years.

It was clear they were in the process of renovating the property. Several of the outlets did not work. The bathroom had huge pieces of peeling paint falling from the ceiling. The door was practically falling of its hinges, the security latch was hanging off and the lock would not turn. The mattress and bedding were old. People complained that the pool was not ready and the water was green. The property had not been maintained in a very long time They should have completed their renovations before they started booking. Not a good place to stay.

We liked the area. The room was cool because it had a full fridge and a microwave. The bed was not great. Over all decent for our 2 day stay.

First I want to say the room looked nice when we first arrived Thursday. When I took my shoes off and unpacked I noticed my socks were filthy. Upon using the bathroom we noticed we had no shower curtain and dirty blotchy dirt was on the floor, my husband went to the front desk to tell them he was told one would be brought to the room. We left to meet family that were staying close by to eat and when we returned later that night no shower curtain. We called the front desk to explain and was told we had to wait until the morning. That was very disturbing because we wanted to shower after a long day traveling. I would have settled for a bath but the tub and drain had some nasty white stuff in it so no bath. I decided to get a careful shower and water was on the floor so I used my towel to clean it up, as did my husband. The next morning no curtain and no towels as my husband requested before we headed out again to meet up. Upon returning later that night no shower curtain nor any clean towels for our shower. Good thing I brought some beach towels because that's what we had to use. It wasn't until Saturday we got a curtain & towels.I can not believe it took 2 days to get them. The guy at the desk at night was rude as if we were bothering him. Also I wanted to sit on the balcony Friday morning with coffee but the sliding door was hard to open and the chairs and patio looked like they haven't been cleaned since last summer. We were so disappointed.

Disappointed
Sidewalks to get in the rooms where flooded. Yes it was raining but not hard enough to flood. Motel needs to do more about drainage. Had to change rooms due to the bathroom ceiling had major water damage. Replacement room had soap from a previous guess left in the shower. We didn’t notice it until we used the shower. Carpet needs to be replaced Another guess had a dog the was barking at 4am. Can hear guess in adjacent rooms talking until 2 am as well as heard there tv all night. Motel advertised a breakfast but only gave a bag breakfast with a muffin and a bottle of water seams to be misleading.

Not as nice as the pictures suggest
The hotel is a Rodeway Inn with a refurbished section at the back. The reception area is nice and staff were extremely friendly throughout the stay. The rooms have been refurbed in the cheapest way possible - old furniture remains with stains and marks, paint on the curtains etc. The bed is comfortable though. The air con machine was incredibly noisy which disturbed our sleep. The kitchenette area is nice, although not sure which market it is aiming for as there is a stove but no pans, plates, utensils so fairly useless unless you're taking your own kitchen supplies to travel. Overall not bad, but it's not worth the money I paid - anything over $80 per night is too much.

The property was clean although I resanitized the room with wipes. The furniture is old and the valance hanging over the sliding glass door was filthy. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. I woke up feeling stiff. They also need new pillows. The pillows are flat.

Suburban Refurbished Room - Needs More TLC
The front office staff was very friendly and helpful. We were the first in the newly refurbished room with new appliances and a large, new marble countertop and a flat-surface set of 2 electric stovetop burners for cooking. Very nice as was the TV. Unfortunately, the heating unit was not updated so it was either too hot or too cold, the wood-style linoleum floors had dried glue in many places that originally looked like dirt but could not be wiped up and the bathroom sink had a crack but did not leak. With a little more effort this could have been a very nice room.
