"The staff was very nice. The issue is with the facility itself. I reserved two suites, one for us and one for friends we were traveling with. Our room was huge, good view and nice. Our friends had the same type room but the carpet was stained, the furniture was beatup and dirty. The worst was that they had thousands of ants in their bathroom. There were rooms in the hotel that had tape surrounding them? I was very disappointed and it looked like at one time this may have been a very nice place.."

"Easiest and by far the fastest check in I have ever done, the cottages are on the smaller side but they are super adorable and roomy I did not feel claustrophobic at all they are about half a mile from the beach as well! They provide many amenities in a cute way with local roasted coffee and take away coffee cups. The bed was amazing as well as the blankets provided, but when you step into the bathroom I felt like I really hit the cottage experience, they articulated the shower in a beautiful wood inlay as the soaps they provide were a great touch with quality and scent as well as I love natural made essentials. I would definitely stay again and should enjoy you here as well especially for the price!"

"My family stayed in one of the newly renovated condos, absolutely beautiful! The condo was updated so modern but still beachy! View was stunning, perfect sunset views from the balcony! Staff was so wonderful and accommodating, one of our cars wouldn’t start and they were accommodating when we needed to extend our stay another day. My family had such a great time, we plan on renting the condo for more family beach getaways! Thank you Chataqua staff! Breakfast was great as well, good variety of breakfast foods! "

"The stay was great. Breakfast had a good variety to choose from. Staff was very kind and helpful. My biggest issue was whoever cleaned our room used the toilet and left it dirty. I had to clean pee off of the seat. "

"This is one of our “ go to “ hotels when we go clamming. It’s close to the beach. Always fairly quiet- you don’t hear a lot of noise from other rooms or the parking lot. Always clean and well maintained- staff is friendly and helpful too. And for what you get it’s a great price. I do wish they had a pool 👍"

"It was an ok hotel but beds are freaking awful, none of us got decent sleep because we were so uncomfortable. Also the room was a tad small, if someone wanted to get to the other side of room we all had to shuffle around to get out of the way. They have a distillery onsite that doesn't sell drinks but does tastings which was a letdown. There is a bar on the 4th floor but just seems like a journey to get there if you're on the other side of the property. It's a great location though, right next to the beach and all the main street restaurants/attractions are within a mile. The pool was a little small and crowded but it's heated and felt amazing."
