"Lovely room, and good food cooked well"

"We stayed 2 nights, staff asked if we needed any cleaning or replacements in the morning. A full English breakfast was served each morning. We had an evening meal the one night with a good choice. This is an Inn so there's a bar which wasn't too noisy the nights we stayed. Friendly staff. We will book again as ideal for areas we wish to visit."

"The room was fine. Beware of the parking charge which is applied to you if you have booked through Expedia. I personally think it is ridiculous to charge extra for parking at a motorway service station hotel."

"The carpets in the inn were filthy when walking up to the rooms! The beds were super squeaky and the room got super warm at night. We asked for a fan and were given one that doesn't work. Sleeping was almost impossible for me. The en suite bathroom we had in the double room did not only not have a latch, but the door also somehow swung and was overall very inconvenient - not ideal if you're travelling with someone who's not your partner. "Had a great stay here on a Sunday night. The weather was great so we were able to sit on the terrace. There was both a wedding and a family party during our one night stay which took up a lot of the outdoor space but we did manage to find some seating. Food was good and plenty of options"

"Strikingly looking hotel. Unfortunately on entering reception, we were greeted with a dirty carpet, which carries on into the bar area with lots of stains. Our room was up 2 flights of stairs, which I wasn't aware of when I booked. Therefore, in this heatwave, the room was an oven. There was a desk fan - 'thank goodness'. Pleased with the room, the layout and amenities. Curtains need seeing to, useless and need blackouts! All the staff were pleasant and hard working. Did not expect a buffet...
