"The air-conditioning in the room could not keep up during the hot hours of the day. It was also very loud. The hotel is an old structure, but nicely renovated. The safety lock on the door was concerning: not easy to use in the event of a fire."

"Room was clean and comfortable, lady at check-in was awesome with good sense of humor and good recommendation for dinner. Experience was excellent until breakfast. The morning woman at the desk was dressed like she was going to the beach, was clearly more interested in her cell phone, and never did an inventory of what was low or empty in the time my wife and I were in the breakfast area. She had to be asked by various customers to stock plasticware, refill the coffee machine, and replenish other items. She would only correct whatever she was specifically asked about and then go back to the desk and her cell phone until asked about something else. Trash was already overflowing when we went down for breakfast, she walked past it several times, and my wife had to push it down hard to get ours in before we left. I was so disgusted that I wanted to leave our trash on the table. Whatever that woman is being paid, it's too much."

"A great place to stay if you are exploring Badlands National Park. Cabins were clean, comfortable and private. If we ever decide to roadtrip to the Badlands again we would definitely stay here."

"The property is older but very well kept and the staff are some of the friendliest I’ve ever encountered in the hospitality business! You can tell that they take great pride in a job well done. Everybody, from the front desk attendant to the person in charge of the breakfast area, treated it like it was the most important job. Really impressed!"
