"Perfectly located for the harbour, the train station and the bus station we were very pleased to find The Little Angel. On arrival Wendy was lovely and very helpful and the box of crisps and breakfast supplies and fresh milk in the fridge was a lovely surprise. The ceiling is a little low in the bedroom but this is to be expected in an old building and we had no bumped heads. The bed was extremely comfortable. The sitting room is above the beer garden so you do get a bit of noise at night but...

"Nutshell is a really lovely little place to stay, ideal for couples and close to the town. There was a bit of noise on Halloween but that’s to be expected in Whitby - the other two nights were very quiet.
We’ll definitely book again."
"We stayed in room 17, parrot room. Very large space. TV was obscured by 4 poster bed frame, would be better above mantle.
The room is by the front door, and the room above must be wooden floored as we heard a lot of footsteps/lpud thuds on the ceiling.
We paid £3 for a parking permit for the W zone, but didnt find a parking space so ended up at the leisure centre - 10 min walk away

"I really liked this, used to live in Whitby so like coming home. The food is excellent apart from Trenchers which was down on last years although the service was good.
My bedroom was superb - beautifully done using all options there for you.

"Lovely little cottage. some damp but I suppose it is to be suspected with the age and location of the building. Windows are a bit stiff, but the kitchen window should be opened due to lack of an extractor. There was no soap, but everything else we needed was provided. The location was excellent and access was easy, aside from parking but we managed OK."
