"Beautiful old hotel. Like stepping back in time. Gorgeous furniture and art. Staff was wonderful. Room was very clean. Bathroom was huge. Most comfortable mattress I have slept on at a hotel. Check-in and parking were very easy. Worth the trip back to Parkersburg just to stay here again."

"The room was clean. I wish there had been a glow night light in the bathroom for those middle of the night visits. I had to blind myself with the overhead light. I also wished for an exhaust fan in the bathroom. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a hotel without one. The breakfast each morning was a highlight. There were lots of choices and both hot & cold foods. I would stay here again."
