This place has stunning views, beautiful trails to walk, great location. It's quiet, staff are wonderful, restaurant is great. An amazing place to get lost in nature and still have luxury and ability to stay connected with people back home. This is not a crazy, busy tourist place. If you want to feel like you have beaches and seals all to yourself, but still want a comfy bed, Brier Island and Brier Island lodge is the place to be! The restaurant closes fairly early, but we were able to request a meal ahead of time on an evening we were returning after closing time. The restaurant will have your meal ready and waiting for you at the front desk. Bring warmer clothes than you normally would in the summer as the Island can be cool and foggy at times. Pick up a few groceries before going to the island. Overall, this is our favourite get-away spot to date.
