"We’ve stayed at Langdon Hall a couple of times over the past 20 years. We had a nice visit… until check out time. It escalated quickly. The minuscule lobby was teeming with sleepy guests around a nearly empty pot of coffee barricaded by luggage. A front desk attendant tried to help me by tilting the pot spilling coffee on my hand. "Hallway to room smelled of marijuana, but room didn't. Basically, very run down, with broken (but working) lamps, a hole in the bathroom door, towel rack broken on wall and missing tiles, even though much of the room appeared updated. My wife said "Lipstick on a pig". But beds were comfortable and nice. Quiet enough as well from 11 pm onwards. Breakfast was marginal, but typical.
