Kitchen was fully equipped. There were two fair sized queens. Very spacious. Comfy. Decent sized tv. Close to a lot of places to eat and see.

Kitchen is set up for minimal cooking. Frig and AC unit are pretty loud. The hotel is very, cery close to the park where the telescopes set up. Also close to a good supermarket.

Nice clean room. We have stayed here multiple times. It’s very convenient to downtown .Just wish they would improve the TV service. No real channel choices and not enough WiFi to stream. A chair in the room would also be nice.

Very clean. It was spacious. The area was beautiful with the mountains right there and I'm in the valley. I got some good sunset pics with the mountains. It was more than I needed but this is what was available. Has a small kitchen but I only saw a pizza pan and an 8x8 pan. No saucepan. But I didn't come prepared to cook. Area was quiet.

Great experience

Great location just off of Main Street in Westcliffe & has a spectacular view of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range. Self check-in was fast & easy. I would stay here again.

Check in a little bumpy. No staff on site. Was promised email to deliver door codes. Didn't get it until I asked. Door code a little balky but eventually worked. Room was spartan. Given price, that was a little surprising. It was a hot day and I turned on window AC. Room never got comfortable, from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning. Bathtub drained slowly and probably was heading for blockage. Bed was good. Location excellent. Should have stayed in Lamplighter Lodge, which better in all respects.

I would have given this 5 stars but there was a full-size fridge in our unit & it was so loud! I've stayed in multiple other hotel/motels with loud mini fridges but this one was certainly the loudest. I love having a fridge & microwave & this was a mini kitchen. The bathroom was big. The mattress must have been the typical spring type - bouncy. The view was mostly of other buildings. So close to coffee shops & restaurants. Good for the price.

Very large, open space; super clean, looked freshly painted. Full kitchen and comfortable bed. Quiet and convenient, plenty of parking. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate with our stargazing, but the accommodations were first rate.

Booking, checking in/out was easy! Some of the appliances are older but they worked just fine. The towels are a bit rougher than most hotels/motels I’ve been to. Tv reception was hit or miss and we just ended up turning it off. That was the biggest downside but we didn’t spend much time needing it. I loved that we could have our fur babies there. Very close to everything! At night when you walk outside you can see the Milky Way and it’s gorgeous! I’d stay here again!

Clean comfortable and quiet.

Room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Overhead light for bedroom didn’t work but the rest did. Electric outlet by the bed one plug in didn’t work. Everything else worked fine. Would stay here again.

Just fine!

The Dark Sky Suites is an extremely clean and basic, no frills type of property. Comfortable enough and just fine. Within walking distance of Main Street Westcliffe with dining, coffee and a delicious bakery. Older building so can we be noisy, particularly when on the first floor, the occupants upstairs were very noisy so I'd request an upstairs suite next time.

The whole process went smoothly, accommodations were basic but good. They had some snacks in the refrigerator which was awesome as I didn't get in until 1:30 a.m. Everything was in good condition except the floor had like a little bit of dirt but not like enough to have a problem with it just wipe the feet before I got into that a little bit.
