The staff are amazing! Love the amenities - the pool, recreation center, activities for the kids such as windchime arts and crafts. The arcade is always a hit. The Loft makes it so easy to not have to stress about a place to go to for dinner. The Cove is a great place for everyone!

One of our favorite places. Great location, quiet, comfortable, clean, staff is excellent, great amenities! My only complaint would be not enough handicap parking because it’s all reserved by time share ownership whom are not there most of the time.

Fall getaway at the Cove

We love the area and had stayed at the Cove once before. Was disappointed the unit did not have a dishwasher and surprised it did not have a stove. Oversall we had a good stay.

We really enjoyed this lodging. Clean, well-furnished and pleasant. What really stood out were the two restaurants on the property. The bar/restaurant by the pool was delightful, delicious food, comfy seating, live music and attentive staff. The 2nd restaurant has great ambiance, varied menu and is very welcoming. We will return for both the lodging and dining.

We were pleasantly surprised to find our hotel booking was a resort! Looks like is or was a timeshare so we had a spacious room with a separate living room and 2 bathrooms. It was clean and comfortable and we would most def stay here again.

The people at the front desk are nice and also friendly. One mile to a small town beach, Colonial beach off route 28. Year round Free parking at the beach. The townhouse was clean and spacious. I highly recommend the cove. Nice little beach. Tounhouse was clean and spacious.

My kids love playing in the racquetball center because they can play tennis (and pickleball), basketball, kids game room, and the arcade. There is also activities throughout the day in the activity room for pretty cheap. If you get bored there’s games, puzzles and movies to borrow and bring back to your room. We loved that the indoor pool was open late on the weekend and it was a nice 86 degrees. The hot tub was clean and so were the saunas.

We had a good time. I've been stayed my at The Cove since I was a small child. The rooms are so nice these days. The bed is rather uncomfortable though. And check out is now 10:00am, which feels very early to us. And it wasn't as obvious as you'd think it would be.

Nice property conveniently located, clean and with several pools and pickleball which we love! Drawbacks were the lack of elevators for hauling all of our luggage and supplies upstairs. Our unit also had a long steep staircase up to the primary (only) bedroom. People with mobility issues could struggle in this unit. There were bathrooms on both levels, which was nice. The unit has an efficiency kitchen for light meals/snacks and a small refrigerator. There is no laundry inside the unit but laundry is available in a public space. We enjoyed The Cove and the area.

Bring a blanket in the off season

A bit chilly. I’ve stayed here every year for the past 10 years. The rooms have all be redone and are lovely and mostly comfortable. However, the days of the down comforter are over and the new coverlet & thin blanket made for a chilly night’s sleep. The bedding for the pullout couch was likewise sheets and a thin blanket. I didn’t bother with getting extra blankets from the front desk because it would’ve taken 2-3 for each of us. Next year, I’ll plan to bring a heavier blanket that can stand up to March weather.

When we checked into our room I went to heat up a dinner in the micro wave and it wasn't working. I called the office and they did replace it right away. Very good service replying back. That night we went to pull out the couch to got to sleep and the bottom of the mattress was curved upwards towards the ceiling, it wasn't laying flat down. . There where no legs on the bottom, it looks like it was on top. This definitely needs to be replaced or fixed. Therefore, My son had to sleep on the sofa itself. My son is 6 FT tall. So it was a little uncomfortable for him. Other than that our stay was good. We where in Town House # 158. I did tell the front desk when we checked out. Hope to stay there again next year, and hopefully we will not have any problems. Thank You, Donna McMinamin
