"The staff was very unhelpful. Starting with not helping with bags or anything else. If you wanted to order anything from the restaurant you had to walk to them as they didn't pay attention to you. The food including the breakfast was one of the worst i had in Bali on my three long visits. The room had a paper thin straw wall. I could hear my neighbor like he was in my room. "Our experience at the Anvaya was memorable, lovely property, staff couldn’t do enough for you, we stayed in a premiere room, great hotel for couples not really suitable for young children as the feel is very zen focusing on relaxation, the only negative I could comment on was at night it was very dark in the gardens and when dining by the beach, you couldn’t really read the menus without torch lights, perhaps some entertainment in the evening would have been appreciated, probably the only hotel in Bali we have stayed in that doesn’t have anything but I guess that’s because they are working hard to keep the quiet relaxing theme going, when we came in at night it would also have been nice to have a night cap in a lobby bar but there was none. Overall we did enjoy our stay."

"The property is very well maintained. The beach is beautiful and clean. All the staff are very helpful and attentive. The food, service and ambience at the Sea Salt restaurant is excellent. It is truly a wonderful experience to dine with the beautiful view of the morning sun and sunset. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4- night stay at the hotel and look forward to return again next year."

"This was our first trip to Bali, and we cannot express how thankful we are for the W Bali team for making this our best vacation experience yet! Every member of the staff interacted with was incredibly kind, hospitable, and professional. In our opinion, the staff was the greatest contributing factor to our positive experience. The amenities were outstanding! Our room left nothing wanting and service was prompt and unobtrusive. Even our ocean view room felt top-tier in terms of features. Each of the restaurants we ate at was high quality in terms of food as well as service. Recommend Fire for breakfast, and the seafood dinner at Starfish Bloo. The beauty of Bali speaks for itself, but if you are considering staying at the W, we highly recommend. We are confident you will not be disappointed!"

"We thought that for a supposedly 5 star resort, this place felt a bit more 3.5-4 star. The rooms were pretty ordinary, there was NOTHING in the mini-bar, they gave 2 coffee sachets for 2 days and 4 bottles of fresh water. Not very 5 star if you ask me. The staff were very nice though, the food at the beach-front restaurant pretty average. Wouldn't stay there again."
