8/10 Good
"Great Location, Good Value Great location for getting around Galway—conveniently close to the train station, ferry, and downtown core. Overall, it was a good stay. The accommodations have a bit of a student-residence feel, with a small room and a shared kitchen for each floor. The rooms can be quite warm, and it can get noisy—especially on weekends or if you need to open the window. Check-in was smooth and easy, and the staff and cleanliness were both very good. Our room wasn’t quite ready at the official check-in time, but it was ready shortly afterward, so the delay was minimal."

"The hotel was lovely and use of the swi.ming pool/ spa was great. The grounds were very well maintained. They had a booking system for breakfast which didn't really allow you to be flexible, but I understand that they probably didn't have enough space / staff if everyone turned up at the same time (hot breakfast was cooked fresh and was delicious)."

Nox Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is centrally located with plenty of parking. The hotel staff were exceptional. Leslie checked us in with efficiency and a joyful disposition. It made us feel extremely welcomed. Service in the restaurant was also exceptional. James welcomed us at the reception station and served us with enthusiasm. The lobby has tables and places to sit. We made use of the large table and played cards each evening while enjoying wine from the bar. When we were ready to check out, Leslie again checked to see if our stay was acceptable and gave us some tips on what to see. Would highly recommend this hotel for the exceptional hospitality provided by the hotel staff."

The Snug Townhouse

8/10 Good
"The rooms were "Snug" as advertised but still enough space for what we needed. The biggest inconvenience was that there is no elevator, so if you are on a top floor you are carrying your luggage up. We made do. The location is right in the middle of all of the nightlife so it may be a bit loud at night when you are trying to sleep. We were so tired that it didn't make a difference! We liked being close to all the shops and pubs. There is also a parking structure just down the street if you are travel with your own vehicle. Overall, a very good place to stay."
