"The staff was VERY friendly and helpful! Our room was very clean and comfortable! Breakfast was delicious too! We will definitely be coming back to stay!"
"Late one evening while traveling across Route 80 during a heavy rain storm, I reserved a room at the hotel because it had a 9 star rating. When I arrived, I had to drive to an ugly back lot that was not well marked. Strike 1. When I checked in, I was informed the first floor was under construction and construction would resume at 8:30 am. When I looked to my left, I saw a plastic drop cloth separating the lobby/breakfast area from the construction. I immediately understood why I smelled so much construction dust. When I parked my car, i had trouble finding a safe spot because the lot was filled with many large construction storage containers and other construction equipment and supplies. Had the hotel listing properly noted it was under construction, I would have chosen one of the other highly rated, nearby hotels. Strike two. Since I was too tired to go somewhere else, I went to my room to discover new furniture whose front veneer was missing large pieces. In the morning, I went to breakfast in the lobby and did not enjoy the construction smells. Strike three. I was so unimpressed and disgusted that I left immediatley. The hotel did not live up to the Hampton name and was nothing like the other Hampton hotels in which I have stayed."
"Pros:
Pool and gym were nice and well maintained. Room was nice, although small. Staff was always so nice and helpful. Breakfast was standard but good. They have a waffle maker! Ac worked.
Cons:
Rooms (at least the one I was in) have no clothing drawers and limited hanging space. You can hear everything going on in the next room if you have a room with a separation door. Listening to people blare music and yell at 1 am when you work the next morning is fun. We could also just hear people having normal conversations. Parking is bad, as there’s a ton of spaces in the back, but there’s always a big work truck parked sideways blocking 3-6 spots. You also cannot enter the building through any door except the front, even with your key card. A bit difficult when you’re trying to take stuff to your room. WiFi is atrocious. Cut out every 2 minutes, was nearly impossible to do schoolwork or watch a movie. Pretty expensive place to stay as well, although the amenities are very nice and make sense for the price.
Overall, while I loved the staff and amenities, I wouldn’t book here again just because of the negative experiences."
"Had a great weekend staying here. Between the kind staff that were all lovely to talk to, the beautiful indoor pool, and spacious room it was a good time the whole time. We definitely plan to stay next year when we come for our event again."
