"The room contained 2 queen beds, both of which were lumpy and squeaked every time I moved. When I called reception to request a different room I was told the hotel was full (though the parking lot was certainly NOT full). The manager on duty said there was nothing she could do except cancel the reservation if I didn't want to stay in that room. I couldn't find another dog-friendly hotel nearby at that hour, and after an 11-hour drive, I decided to stay. I got very little sleep. The next morning, I saw that, in addition to worn-out beds, the room also had a wobbly toilet, soap scum in the shower, cobwebs and dust bunnies in the bathroom, under the desk and on the AC unit and dirty net curtains. The dog-walking area was just as disappointing, littered with trash, pallets and construction debris. Do better, La Quinta!"

"What is the last thing you remember when leaving the property? If you have a warm breakfast in your belly you have had a pleasant experience. Go back to the warm breakfast even if you have to change a little more for the room. "

" Our check in went smoothly without any issues. The hotel is located in a convenient area with food/gas very close by and it’s right off of i95. We’re fortunate that our night was only to shower and sleep and then get back on the road. The room appeared clean on walking in and smelled it. However, the floors proved differently. I first noticed it with my son. He took a shower and then when he walked to the bed, the soles of his feet were black from the dirt. After cleaning his feet, I showered. The same thing happened to me. I ended up using a towel on the floor under my feet and it was filthy to say the least. When booking, I favored Hilton, but this was a disappointment. The beds were comfortable, the showers hot, and the staff pleasant but the housekeeping could use improving. Perhaps new products to clean the floors with or a deep clean is needed."
