I was happy that the staff helped us to enjoy our honeymoon they gave us a suite which was really nice the staff was very friendly and assisted us with whatever we needed which was really appreciated. the breakfast was really great I just wanted more of the local cuisine. Just want to thank Ms Edwards for everything she really helped us to make our stay a memorable one. And thr house maid was really great. We also rnjoyed the pook and the restaurant the food was really great to. Thank you for everything.

Overall a positive experience for the price. Breakfast has limited choices but still good. Staff made us something different since we didn't eat sausage stew. Rooms were clean. The pool needs a little more attention. The food at the restaurant was really good.

This property needs a major upgrade. Room was more like one you pay for by the hour, smell musky and in despair. Room was flooded by overnight rain. No soap or shampoo walk with your own like I did. The breakfast was horrible and not authentic. Not worth it. Good location, extremely good staff and customer service however, even while knowing the place needs an overhaul. Kudos to the staff.

The staff at the front desk, Ema, was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, with air conditioning. The cleaners were very helpful as well. We had fresh breakfast served daily, not forgetting the amazing bartender.

While the property itself is beautiful and is located in an awesome location, lots of upgrades and improvement are needed. The washrooms should be updated. There were no washcloths or hand towels provided. No shower caddy in the room for toiletries. The room card did not work and I was advised that the battery had died and therefore I was provided with a manual key. The housekeeping and front desk staff are AMAZING! The front desk staff are incredibly helpful, polite and kind. Housekeeping staff are not English speaking, so communication with them was challenging, however, once they understood the request, they did what was asked. I tried breakfast the first day and never went back. It was awful. For a Guyanese resort to not have Guyanese cooking staff is kind of insulting and oh so disappointing. Whatever the Spanish speaking kitchen staff prepared, was nowhere close to authentic Guyanese food. I'd love to stay at this spot again, however, I think lots has to be done to improve the overall experience.

Aracari was a very convenient to stay at considering I had much to do on the West Bank. Room was comfy and property overall was pretty nice. Hot water was good, and AC was very cool. Breakfast, different menu served daily, was served hot and had choices of coffee, juice or water. Bar/Restaurant onsite was convenient to grab lunch, dinner and a night cap. Didn't use the pool, but others did and had a blast. Would definitely use again.

We always stay in the Excecutive Suite for our 2+ weeks in Guyana. Our stay was pleasant. The room was extremely clean. The staff- from the staff who carries the suitcases and ground keepers. Huge shoutout to everyone on site. They were all very pleasant and made us feel at home. The issue lies with the staff at the front desk. They need retraining. They tried charging us to check in early (2 hours) even though the room was available. Never have we ever had to pay to do an early check in at any hotel. The girl was very rude and refused to give her name. We ended up booking on Expedia to avoid dealing with her. We also found out that the hotel doesn't charge for early check in, which means the girl (Ms. Edward's, apparently) was trying to scam us. When we came to the hotel, we were greeted by Roshini, the housekeeping supervisor. She was beyond accommodating. The poolside restaurant and bar was nice to sit, even though we don't drink. Everyone at the poolside were friendly and joyful. As far as security, there's a gate and an attendant. However, each apartment entrance should have a door and a key to enter the rooms' area. Especially that the bar and pool are open to the public, they need to keep resort guests safe. Great resort. When you are on property, you forget that you are in Guyana. Lovely.
