Good base for Wels
Friendly welcome,. Good sized room, pity no en-suite, but adequate bathroom provision. Excellent information from hist about facilities nearby and information about route, parking, sites and restaurants in Wells.

Exceptional stay host coudnt do anoth for me ,stayed in the annex midern litsoff extra toucheslots off option on tea try including chocoate. Lovely outside seating big booklet withoical imformation including walks.,great selection at breakfast,this site over chatge me host noticed before i did and said she woudnt have me paying that prices and sorted it. I usselly prefere hotals to b and b only xhose thisplace as wanted to stay in priddy,what a find. Im farely local will defantely recamded

Nice spot and lovely breakfast
One night spent for work. Good things: Friendly welcome, comfy bed, warm room, good tea/coffee, good price, peaceful location, beautiful breakfast Could be better: Very difficult to find (no sign), no shampoo/shower gel.

Dejligt sted
Dejligt sted med meget venlige værter. Vi boede i en tilbygning - det fungerede perfekt. Troede egentlig det var “på landet”, men det var i udkanten af byen - og med en pub 500 meter nede af vejen 😀.

Enjoyable Stay
A very pleasant stay with accommodating owners (we asked for a slightly later than usual breakfast, which they were more than happy to oblige) - and the breakfast was well worth getting up for...!

Lovely little place
Very nice B&B with a lovely host. We had a comfortable night in the pink room. Breakfast was great in a lovely dining area. Will recommend.

Cosy family house
Room was spacious enough with tea and coffee facilities and tv with freeview. Shared bathroom down the hall was clean. Owners very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast.

Priddy is the most Mendip of Mendip villages. Ebborways B&B was in a great location on the edge of the village, on the Mendip way and an easy stretch to the village pub. The owners were welcoming and helpful. No problems with the room or the breakfast. I will certainly stay again!

my weekend away
my stay was for the weekend the owner was very friendly and helpful told me the best route to cheddar gorge and wookey hole. the room was very comfortable and warm. The breakfast in the morning was lovely everything you could want cereal, full English, toast and tea. I had a really lovely time and would recommend it to my friends.

Relaxing in the countryside
Tranquil and relaxing. The owner is extremely nice and flexible accommodated our numerous small requests as we have traveled with small children. Lovely stay and great breakfast!

다시 가고싶은 곳!
목적지근처에 호텔을 예약못해서 선택하게된 곳이었는데 뜻밖의 편안함과 따스함을 주는곳이었어요. 전원적인 주변환경이 도심 호텔과는 차별화된 정취를 느끼게 해주고 여유까지 더해주었습니다.. 다음에 다시한번 방문하고싶은 곳입니다!

Beautiful house and fantastic location
We pulled up, staff were fantastic and very accomodating especially as we had a puppy with us. Would deffently come back on another trip.

Very comfy stay - homely and friendly
A really lovely place to stay if you are looking for somewhere warm and welcoming. This isn't the Hilton but it doesn't pretend to be; it has a shared bathroom and decor is homely rather than "hotel-y" but as a comfy place to rest our heads and spend the day getting wet and muddy at a nearby festival we had a great place to stay. Breakfast is home made and delicious and we will stay again when we need to! Highly recommended.

2 Night stay at Ebborways Farm
Small family run Guest House near Wells in Somerset ..a little offt he beaten track but easy to find via Sat Nav Room pleasant and clean well decorated ..only disapointment no En Suite (not mentioned on online booking) Breakfast was great freshly cooked ..range of cereals etc ..plenty of Tea or Coffee...........

Deepest Countryside
Our satnav took us (in the dark) down some interesting country lanes but we got there (having passed it!) i.e. on the right half a mile past the pub! That said, we had a delightful stay in homely surrounds. Enjoyed the quiet, including thr pigeons cooing and a great breakfast. Not the handiest to get to but welll worth the effort

Très agréable
The owners are so nice! I had car trouble and arrived very late (after midnight), and Chris, one of the owners, was extremely forgiving and accomodating. It was very comfortable and breakfast was great. About a half-mile away there is an amazing view, you can see for 20-30 miles, the spot has been used for several film shots. Would totally stay here again and recommend to anyone.

Friendly service
Location is great, and there is a good pub about 10 mins walk away. Breakfast was excellent, and served in a lovely conservatory. Ideal spot for walkers.

Old fashioned stay
Situated just 4 miles or so outside Wells, the stay gives a type of B&B that was to be had years ago. The rooms share a bathroom which is not to the liking of all. Rooms were a little full of a range of oddities without any clear style. Bed was excellent but if you are a shorty then you may need a ladder to get into it. Breakfast was well catered for with the usual suspects for you to try in full english and cereals, no complaints there. There is a pub within walking distance for your arrival evening meal which serves excellent food. Needs a bit of a tidy up but the welcome and food are very good. If you want en-suite and and clutter bothers you then this is not for you. I would go back but only in out of season times

Just right
Ebborways Farm was exactly what we were looking for. It's situated in a great part of England, with the Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole and other must see locations nearby, and it's village, Priddy, is quintessential English countryside. The farm itself is spacious enough, but I also liked that the main house only catered to a few rooms, which helps maintain its very quiet ambience. It's the complete opposite of a hotel chain. The staff were wonderful, the breakfast is what you would expect, the price was very reasonable. Everything was right. Sometimes you can select a place that looks just right, but you didn't realise it was next to an airfield, or a factory, or a pelican farm (been there, Florida), or it was run-down, or the service was terrible, or whatever else it is that's going to ruin the experience. Not so, here. It was just right.

Ebborways - a lovely retreat in the Mendips...
I loved my stay here. The owners are very welcoming and warm. I have a medical condition and was concerned about being cold however the rooms were plenty warm enough and I was even brought an extra heater in case the central heating was not enough. The breakfast was superb and I really cannot find anything I would have wanted to be different. The B&B is quiet and the village is quite isolated - but this is exactly what I wanted - and it was easy to drive to wherever I needed to get too. I'd definately return. :)

Home from Home
I stayed here on business as all the hotel airports were full or way to expensive. For the money it was good value, the welcome and breakfast were great. The place is a bit run down and could do with a spruce up. The bed was really comfy and I had 2 great nights sleep, very quiet area. I didn't try the local pubs, although they looked great and had a good reviews

Pay a little £10-£15 extra next time trust me!
Basically where to start. Firstly I would like to say the lady who owns the house was really nice. But.... From the outside and on the pics on the web it's looks ok, a nice farm house way out (yes a way) in the country. When I walked into porch I was greeted by a man who looked like a friendly builder and a nice lady who both greeted me albeit a little surprised IDE turned up (it was 930pm!) as IDE only just booked about 20mins before with them. I waa told to "please excuse the jumble of mess downstairs" as I was told they were sorting out stuff for a local jumble sale, fair one I thought. Then I was shown up a small set of homely stairs and right away I could see where this was going, yup I was staying over in someones home. As in, I'm in the guest bedroom and the lady is next door to me about 5m away....... Some people probably like this personal style of b and b, me? I prefer my privacy. Anyway the room? The floor was full of dog hairs, clumps of the stuff everywhere, even in and on the bed! Looks like the landlady could have run a Hoover over the place before IDE got there! Then the 'shared bathroom', which had the worlds worst shower, yup hot for 1 min cold the next, so I was cooked alive (boiled) and living with the Eskimos the next. The teabags had been warmed up naturally in the Tupperware they been sat in for a couple of weeks and I enjoyed plastic brews (1!) and the bed was the only saving grace about my stay....needless to say I snuck out before the lady had time to put my breakfast on...... I feel sorry for the lady writing this as I feel she meant well, I saw family pics up which made me safe and welcome. I just think there is no excuse for a lack of cleaniness and her home just needs some renovations doing to it to get a decent b&b up and running, I'm sure shell get there one day - sorry dont mean to sounds patronising.... But that's how I felt. Thanks for letting me stay, but next time I'll be Kipping in the back of the van. Pe
