Cute hotel in near center of town

Cute little hotel very near the center of town. Tiny parking lot, but if others park considerately it's enough room (a little challenging when people spread out and take up numerous spots). The rooms were clean and comfortable. Honestly, we were exhausted from just having arrived in Europe and then driving 4 hours, so we don't remember everything! I know we all slept well (enough for the first night after jet lag). I'd book the hotel again if in the area.

Weimar ist eine schöne Stadt. Das hotel liegt nicht weit von Zentrum. Leider nicht so sauber. Zweimal das Zimmer gewechselt einmal wegen schimmel im Bad und einmal schimmel ans Fensterramen

Das Hotel ist sehr schön gelegen. Gut zu Fuß vom Zentrum erreichbar. Das größte Problem war, dass das Wlan nicht funktionierte. In unserem Zimmer war das Signal zu schwach. Jedes Mal wenn ich zur Rezeption gegangen bin, war niemand dort und auf mehrmaliges Klingeln hat auch niemand reagiert. Ein bisschen Mehr Aufmerksamkeit wäre schön gewesen; und funktionierendes Wlan kann man (muss man) eigentlich erwarten können. Ansonsten war der Aufenthalt sehr angenehm.

Wir waren 2 Tage dort Gast in Weimar, das Positive: Guter Parkplatz, Stadtnähe per Fuss oder Rad, Glutenfreie Brötchen auf Wunsch, Eierspeisen frisch zubereitet, insgesamt gutes Frühstück. Das Hotel und die Zimmer / Bäder sind aber insgesamt in die Jahre gekommen, vor allem Betten, Matratzen (unsere waren sehr durchgelegen) sollten ausgetauscht werden.

Så lækkert værelse - højt til loftet og godt med plads. Både bruser og badekar. Meget venlig modtagelse på stedet trods lidt sprogbarriere som dog blev klaret med Google translate. Vi var der på kort visit men Weimar virker som en by, man sagtens kunne bruge mere tid i.

Das Zimmer war einfach aber geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sauber. Alles, was man benötigt war vorhanden: Wasserkocher inkl. Kaffee/Tee, Minibar sowie Pflegeprodukte. Das Frühstücksbuffet war hervorragend und wurde permanent vom immer sehr freundlichen Personal aufgefüllt. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und werden bei einem weiteren Urlaub in Weimar sicher wiederkommen.

We liked the area, an easy 10 minute walk to town, through villa lined streets and not far from the river. The lady at check in our first night was professional, curteous and friendly and solved our 'hick ups" in a professional manner. We were pleased. However, the manager of the hotel made us very aware that the upgrade of room we received costs more than the initial room. We received the upgrade because the room we booked was located in a different house which they closed due to not enough guests. Also due to false advertising on THEIR website and time consuming delay in finding our reservation which included breakfast but we were told it did not, until i showed a print out of my reservation ( foresight proven important, which also should not have happened). It's not a cheap hotel in a city of many hotels and pensions.... the room we originally received had 2 hard chairs that were so small we had to squeeze ourselves in. And a downgrade from our booking. We both thought it highly unprofessional for a HOSPITALITY business of the manager to drive in the fact we got more than we apparently paid for. We did find out she is a business woman. As that, she should be responsible for updating her website making it easier for her employes to find the right information on their computers. Treating guests hospitably she is not cut out for. Many small things in our Interactions were similar. Business instead of care. For the price, we will not stay there again. .

Vorweg: das Personal beim Frühstück war überragend und sehr professionell. Um so verwunderlicher- zum Hotel wollte es nicht so recht passen: der zu kleine Freisitz mit 2 Tischen und 3 Barhockern war vom Unkraut überwachsen, nicht gepflegte Grünflächen mit Hornveilchen im Blumenkübel (Ende Juli/Anfang August), den Weg zierte blauer Nadelfilz und nicht verbaute Glasscheiben. Der Garten ist ne Baustelle, die nirgends im Exposé Erwähnung findet. Im Zimmer ein quietschendes Bett und im Bad ein durchlaufender Spülkasten mit wackelndem Toilettensitz. Die Bilder der einzelnen Zimmer zum Treffen einer validen Wahl des Zimmers unterscheiden sich nicht und sind irreführend. Gefallen hat uns unser Aufenthalt dennoch, aber das lag eher an der sehenswerten Stadt Weimar, als an der Unterkunft.
