"Check in to the hotel is efficient. The receptionists are friendly and helpful, even went all out to assist me in booking a last minute driver to Yunmen Mountain. Housekeeping staff are very on the ball to keep the room clean and neat. They even prepared fruits and yoghurt daily for the guests. Hotel even prepare special gifts daily. "I had a nice room with a balcony, which was showing the local kite tradition and was well equipped. I enjoyed the room. The bathroom was a little smelly when not running the exhaust fan."

"This stay was just one night. It was just ok, but you can expect more from a 4* property. Supposedly clean rooms, however when you look more thoroughly you'd see a lot of dirtiness (air con was plagued with fungus and full of dust, same goes with lamp tops in the rooms and bathroom). The worst experience, however, was the breakfast - not only the food was bad and cold, there was no butter at all, the tea from the machine squirted a dirty brown water instead of tea... When I checked in around 10m late night, I was asked 2-3 times which companies I was from, I replied just check name but the front desk kept asking, which was a bad experience. In addition, the staff who served check-in had no name tag. When I asked is there any chance I can get updated on high floor lake view. The reply was: no, you must stay the room you booked. Wow, a great check in experience. "
