The room had everything you need and was n order. Breakfast and morning staff were fantastic. However, the wifi was absolutely terrible. It would disconnect every minute for a minute, which was problematic as I was there for business.

The whole stay was great, shame that they do not offer dinner as we found ourselves with no place to dine at on Sunday evening and everything else is closed on a Sunday in the area. Will definitely be back!

This property is closely located to the downtown old city Square. Only issue is that the restaurant is not open due to Covid but breakfast is served daily free

3 Star that needs some remodel polish.
Recently stayed overnight in this property. Hotel was operational with COVID limits. Hotel is a 3-star property. Guest Rooms are clean but needing renovation. Too many smokers outside of front door of property and ruins the “Welcome atmosphere” guests expect. Room was on 1st level and smelled of residual smoke from outside. Due to COVID limits the breakfast buffet was limited to A’ la carte service at each table. Hotel staff very pleasant and courteous.

The Amedia was conveniently located in Weiden to get to Grafenwoehr. Staff was very friendly, especially the front desk personnel. Courtesy breakfast was excellent.

Comfortable stay, friendly staff
The local area is being revitalized. New shopping, dinning and entertainment options coming soon. Hotel food and service excellent. The only thing negative is the Wi-Fi connection is not password protected and connection drops off often.

No frills
Pragmatic and no frills in 1980s style. Decent size for a single room. Fine range of breakfast options. Cupboard looked like there had been a minibar in the past. Hotel.co.uk take note: in contrast to information on your site, the rooms don't come with tea/ coffee makers - see also the hotel's web site.

Sleeping and smoking issues
Very nice hotel, does not have air conditioning, so if book in hot months sleeping at night not as comfortable. Be aware of which room are in. Front facing rooms are just below smoking area outside and with no air conditioning and if you are a non smoker you will smell and get smoke in your room. This is not a problem in cold months but with no A/C sleeping with windows open you will smell and get smoke. Do have a great breakfast buffet. Great location to city center, short walk thru green space. Short 10 minute walk to train station.

Property well located. Breakfast was just Ok., nothing spectacular. However the staff was quite nice. Rooms clean and nice and beds very comfortable, but no A/C. Germany please! Invest on A/C’s on your buildings.

Nice hotel but it will be nicer if it had A/C
Everything was great the breakfast especially, except no air condition and have to request for fan. That made it difficult to sleep at night but I guess most hotel are like that but I wasn’t expecting a 4 star hotel not to have an A/C. It was a 5 minutes walk to the center or square which was really nice to eat, drink and chill. It will be a great place during spring and fall but summer time requires an A/C for me to give it a 4 star.

Close to the airport
Surprised to be charged 3€ for parking when I wasn’t made aware until checkout of the charge. Rooms are bare. TV never came on. Parking lot was full and we had to park in front of the restaurant. Convenient to the airport and an OMV on the way to turn in the rental.

The young woman at reception was very accommodating when the reservation for one person in our party did not go through; she graciously allowed us to share a room for an extra 25 euro. The breakfast was a typical German breakfast. The hotel is less than a 10 minute walk from downtown Weiden. The only negative thing about the stay was the poor WiFi connection in the room (4th floor) which kept disconnecting the device. Would definitely stay here again.

Convenient hotel to the center

NIce spacious room. Quiet location near town center, 5 minute walk, Walking trail begins on property. Great breakfast with plenty of options included. As is typical in Germany no air conditioning. Great hotel. Will stay again....

This is my favorite hotel in the area, it has everything you need. They were out of fans and it was really hot outside, but thankfully they put me in cool corner room. No problems!

The AMEDIA (a.k.a. "Admira") is a modern hotel located within walking distance of the Weiden in der Oberpfalz train station and historic town center. It offers free onsite parking, Wi-Fi, and buffet breakfast, with a lobby bar and an excellent restaurant (Thun, a.k.a. "Lobster"). The rooms, on the other hand, are relatively spartan with few amenities. Also, when I first arrived at the hotel, the front-desk clerk confirmed my room was ready but they would have to charge me extra if I checked in before 3 pm, which I found highly inconvenient.

A fine hotel but not as fine as advertised
This hotel is fine for what it is, but not for what it is advertised as being. Staff are very helpful and breakfast was decent. The hotel restaurant was good but incredibly slow (dinner and dessert took almost three hours, and we were one of perhaps a half dozen tables served that evening. And yes, I'm aware that German dining is at a more relaxed pace but sorbet should not take 40 minutes to arrive). The rooms are dated but serviceable. Honestly I'd have been satisfied by the hotel if it wasn't advertised as a stunning 4 star hotel experience. Expectation management is key; several work friends were horrified by my description of the rooms and value as this hotel has a reputation for being the pinnacle of hotels in the city.

Very good stay at the Amedia
A very good stay at the Amedia Hotel. The room was spacious and very clean with a comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was consistently excellent with food regularly re-stocked at busy times. Free parking available at ground level although that is limited with a an underground pay car park available as well. Staff friendly and helpful throughout. Only downside was the WI-FI which was unreliable and frequently cut out. This is unusual for a business-oriented hotel.

Very happy to stay again
Well located hotel for city centre. Great staff. Big, clean rooms with all the amenities you'd expect. Food in restaurant was OK, but not outstanding. I'd stay again. Perfect for business travel.

A few blocks from the Banhof and close to the town center. Beautiful hotel with modern furnishings. Good breakfast buffet. Only complaint: very warm June but Air Cinditioni g not turned on.
