"We were given a room in the lower part which was pretty dark with two little windows, it was a bit gloomy. The bath saved the room, it’s the biggest bath we’ve ever used, was lovely at the end of the day. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner, food was very good and as were the staff. Pool was nice but certainly not a pool designed for doing actual swimming, you had to dodge round people to get across to swim on “length” . Never got to try the hot tub due to the same people hogging...

"Nice hotel.Our room had been refurbished so all good apart from shower.Power in shower wasn't good.We were on ground floor next to a road so heard all the traffic and pedestrians passing and some of them loud.Soundproofing not good.Heard every bit of noise from upstairs.Doors banging etc.On the upside grandkids loved the pool.Staff lovely."

"Reception was ok but language barrier made things difficult, even though English is our native language. The room was large but the bed was small. The bedrooms, bathrooms and corridors are looking tired, corners, skirtings and edges are in need of a clean. The pool is great, lovely and warm. The wet change bags should be in changing room not on pool side, none of the lockers lock."

"A beautiful retreat awaits! The room was large and the bath seemed larger! The restaurant was excellent for both the breakfasts and our dinners. Excellent wine list too. The Spa was a nice break during our travels."

"On arrival the reception staff were brilliant and friendly. Rooms were ready on arrival but cleanseness not up to standard Dot from restaurant was amazing and remembered our table and our special event that was happening. She is a true gem. Hotel and surrounding areas were amazing, the views from our balcony were awesome, would definitely recommend our only real complaint is the lack of power points in our rooms and no directory or fire information some lights not working"
