"Food was fairly decent, staff were all excellent. Nice clean room, lovely comfortable bed. Big clean bathroom. However .....we couldn't get any of the radiators to work. When its single digits centigrade outside its time to fire up the central heating !! The room and bathroom was very cold, which put a real downer on our stay."

"I had to ask for towells for the room, also had to ask for toilet paper otherwise every thing about the hotel was perfect. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent. I have stayed at this hotel many times before and have never had any previous problems."

"Rooms are on 2 different levels so very quiet. We stayed in room 2 which was lovely, with tea & coffee etc and very welcome biscuits. No need to bring shower products as they are all provided. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of items (ordered the night before). The fruit salad was fab & I can highly recommend the omelette! My husband had the full English, which he really enjoyed. Offered more tea/coffee & toast. The hosts Jane & Mark were lovely and very helpful regarding the local area...

"Not our first stay here. As usual everything brilliant. Can't wait to go back."

"Lovely and friendly, directly on the beach a perfect get away"

"The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy and had more than could be expected."

"We stayed for two nights prior to renting a boat for a week on the broads. Central location, close to everything which was a huge plus since we did not have a car. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lots to do in walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"The Boathouse (or to people like me who haven’t been in Norfolk for 15 odd years - the former Eels Foot) is a fantastic location for short or longer stays, with the broads, Great Yarmouth, Norwich and north Norfolk all easily reachable from here. The pub / restaurant is beautiful, and serves excellent food. Breakfast is a-la-carte and is excellent for the price. Mike, the proprietor, is a great host and was extremely helpful in helping us to plan the remaining days of our trip. Highly recommend!"

"Beautiful little cottage, close too all amenities your never 10 mins from the coastline. Dog friendly Very Comfortable two bedroom Beautiful downstair bathroom and Ensuite shower room in master bedroom. We had the opportunity of meeting our host Wendy and Dave very lovely people. Highly recommended"

"The room was very warm even with the windows open as it was at the top of the property. A room fan was provided but it meant that there was a constant noise when it was on. The breakfast was really nice."

"Staff was very helpful, clean room, and great location"

"Service throughout stay was very good, check in quick and with no issues. Room spacious and had all the amenities required. Breakfast and restaurant meals very good with great selection for both."

"Rooms are comfy and well presented Beds are very comfortable Food is excellent and staff very friendly So much choice for breakfast Very worth a stay"

"Steve the bar manager was attentive and very helpful"

"Walls in the room was dusty but overall rooms were clean. No issues with parking but disabled bay could have been little bigger. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. No hot beverage served in the evening."
