"Stayed June 20 & 21, 2026. The directions were great, the staff very helpful and accommodating. The 2 nights were very hot & humid! Didn't know how to open the windows, thought they needed keys, but they didn't. We're from Canada so the windows are different. Luckily we had a fan in the room to help us sleep the 1st night. With the windows open the 2nd night, we still needed the fan for comfort. Apparently the UK was having a heat wave!
Sam, the owner/manager (?) was very responsive and helpful. He comped us breakfast for our discomfort. How generous & it was much appreciated!
I wasn't keen on sharing a bathroom with another room but we had no choice, the BnB we had booked, cancelled on us only 5 weeks prior to arriving and we had to scramble to find alternative accommodations. This Guest House had only this room without a private bathroom available. First time using Expedia to book accommodations.
All in all, thank you to the staff & to Sam, for a good stay."
