"The room was clean and quiet but the hair dryer didn't work. The location is scenic and conveniently located to Fundy National Park. The hotel restaurant is excellent but it doesn't serve breakfast. However, there's a wonderful restaurant for breakfast across the street. I would stay there again."
"We loved our three night stay at Evangeline’s. Monica is an excellent host. It is clear that she has thought about every single detail to make our stay a memorable one. We stayed in the Acadia room which was not only very ample and comfortable but beautifully decorated with antiques. The breakfast was scrumptious."
"We enjoyed our stay. The property was clean, and had a nice bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. Just a short ten minute walk to Water Street. Saw deer just about every time we walked about."
"We had a mixup with our reservation but the manager was able to solve the problem and was very helpful. The hotel is older, but our room (especially the washroom) looked completely renovated. The room and the common areas are very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is OK."
"We had a WONDERFUL stay here! The themed rooms were very charming, the history was fascinating to learn, and the hosts were very attentive to details. From the water fountains in the garden, to the hanging flower baskets, the porch swings, lights, freshly popped popcorn, the game room, fire table out back and all the uniquely designed rooms, the entire experience was lovely, relaxing and very welcoming.
And then...there was the BREAKFAST. The staff were so kind and attentive - the service was phenomenal. The breakfast was included with the room, 3 courses predetermined that day by the chef...and it was truly truly amazing. We started fresh walnut date scones with a maple glaze, followed by a beautiful small fruit parfait with home made granola, then the eggs Benedict over a lovely stacked smoked/grilled ham and crispy haskbrown with home made hollandaise and fresh veggies on the side. We felt we were at a fine dining restaurant and it was truly one of the best breakfasts we've had anywhere! This level of charm, care, and personality, is a thing you don't find in big chain hotels. The only improvement I might suggest is adding AC units. We will be visiting again"
"The owners Jeff and Marisca were extremely friendly and accomodating with great food options and going out of their way to provide home made gluten free food for allergies and was well maintained property."
