"Basic place, a little out of town. Some mould on walls in bathroom and sink in the kitchen area. Good that there was a microwave, kettle, kitchen sink and a few pots."
"I am giving a poor review because there was no one available when we arrived. My 11yr old, an awesome stranger and I walked around looking for someone for over an hour before we gave up. When we went back the next day, same thing. We weren't able to check in there."
"Booked and paid for 7 nights in advance. Arrived with no room was available due to their major facility plumbing issue and had to check into a two-twin bed room instead of one king bed as booked.
The facility was very old, dirty with bad odor. One of the worst sort of the bad odor was their dark color toilet mat. This very dirty toilet mat would had never been cleaned nor replaced for months.
Tried of this very inconvenience and decided to give up and moved to a different hotel instead.
The even more disturbing news was both of the Sheik Istana Hotel and Hotel.com were putting a lot of effort not to refund the remaining unused nights.
This was very unacceptable and definitely had to sort it out at BBB, FTC and CFPB.
