"Room was eh, very noisy and zero air flow. Smelled very moldy and my nose is stuffed up after in night. Decided to eat local at the restaurant and was a disaster. €60 for two people and was the worst risotto, basically eating straight pepper seasoning, my GF had a burger and was so spicy she was sweating. Then had to wait nearly an hour to get a desert, that tasted very off, like expired tasting. To top it off, not really a reception, so you have to go to the bar, and wait like you are...

"We love this hotel so much. The moment you walk in, it’s welcoming and homely. It’s decorated beautifully and the rooms are so clean and comfortable. The breakfast is so good, with a wide range of options. We can’t fault this hotel. We’ll be back each time. "

"A great hotel, we came for an event and the hotel was very convenient and good. We did not eat at the hotel so I am unable to comment on this. However, we did have a drink in the bar and we did have to replace the glasses about 3 times as they were all dirty. The staff seemed to lack training in customer service skills. The same 2 drinks, cost a different amount each time."

"The room was very clean, with amazing staff and wonderful views. We stayed at the mews, some drawbacks are no fridge, no room service & no AC. We did enjoy our stay despite not having some amenities"

"The hotel was really good value for money, rooms were very clean, a little too warm and we couldn’t turn the radiator off in the bathroom! Easy ride on the bus into town and close to the shops and restaurants of Summertown however the best thing about the hotel is the staff, we didn’t see many of them, just Lucas doing the cooking and his colleague (didn’t catch his name, sorry!) who was doing everything else! Really friendly, outstanding breakfast, nice room and great value!"

"Spa was excellent I had a room in The Paddocks and (as a single female) felt quite vulnerable on the 5 minute walk to and from the main building behind quite a tall hedge. Also my room wasn’t made up prior to the second night. The Poolside was lovely, staff were great and food/bar area all as expected. Will visit again (but ensure I’d be staying in the main building).
