"Really good value for the money. Although near a main road, the hotel is set well back and our bedroom was at the back of the building and very quiet.
Excellent dinner and breakfast."

"This is the best room i have stayed in within this kind of setting. I booked a single budget room. It was brilliant. Very large room with a small double bed in it , much better than a single bed. Lovely bedding. Lovely spacious bathroom with fabulous products.no need to bring your own. Great brands of tea, coffee and biscuits.
At breakfast i ask ed for mine to be cooked well done however it came back with pale bacon and sausage. All i ate was the egg. However their was lovely berries, greek...

"Lovely comfortable room with a large bathroom. The full English breakfast the next morning was superb . Staff very pleasant and friendly , I would definitely return here next time I visit Rothbury."

"It was very hot, but the staff loaned us a fan. Still hot, but at least there was some air movement. Great location, wonderful breakfast!!"

"Bloody Marvellous
From the lovely warm welcome when we arrived to the fantastic breakfast just before we left everything was perfect.
The room was lovely but what really made the difference was the wonderful team.
The chefs should be made a saints as they worked miracles.
See you all again"

"Travelled with 2 puppies was worried about how things would be. Didn’t need to be worried as dog friendly rooms available & staff very accommodating.
Meals served all day & a good variety to choose from.
Have booked for close family to stay later in the year."
