"An ideal stopover for us on our way to catch the ferry from Aberdeen. It's a relatively quiet part of the A1, leafy, and fields with distant views of Bamburgh and the sea (all rooms have this view so away from the road). We had a great family room, a bed each for us - 3 adults and 2 pooches. Staff were very friendly and hard working. Breakfast was great, tasty and plentiful. Thanks all, see you on our return."

"Mark is super helpful. The bed in the family suite was really comfortable and the breakfast was decent, included cereals, fruit, tea, coffee, fruit juice and the usual cooked selection with toast. The family suite room is well positioned and has sea views from both windows. Bamburgh is easily walkable from the B&B and there are dining options close by. "Glebe Cottage was a lovely place to stay. The location was superb with views out to sea from the cottage and hot tub. The cottage was well appointed and very clean. I read other people’s reviews so brought some scissors. Bonus of having electric car chargers right outside the cottage. It’s really thoughtful of the owners to mow the edges of the fields so you can easily walk to the coast or to Embleton village without going on the road. "The pictures on the site do not represent the reality of this hotel. It’s currently very run down and in need of lots of work. We stayed for 3 nights, we only had 3 towels and although we asked for more twice, were not given any and they weren’t changed during our stay. The bathroom looked new but unfinished. There was nowhere to put shampoo etc. in the shower, the floor was slippy (I bought a rubber mat for them) the toilet flush was dodgy and neither the fan or light above the mirror worked....
