"Our room was very good and clean, staff helpful. Enjoyed Wests Club so close to our accommodation. Great food and service from nice helpful staff. A great setup for our stay there."

"Room was very clean. Place is absolutely beautiful."

"The only problem we had was parking with the big 4 wheel drive cars and utes parking was very tight but apart from that everything was great"

"Stayed for two nights and cannot fault the accomodation at all..Very clean and comfortable room great breakfast and friendly hostess"

"The single bed mattress in the suite was most uncomfortable, felt the springs against the body"

"Great location"

"The location is good and the room was very basic but okay. The amenities were very basic too. There was a smell of sewage in the ensuite and it was unpleasant. The property needs to be updated. It is okay and was suitable for what we required this weekend."

"Great spot in Newcastle, close to public transport. Staff were super helpful and positive."

"Location perfect for me. Restaurant very good. No trouble parking, even at night when restaurant filled up."

"This was our second stay in the past two months and once again all the staff were very helpful and considerate. A special mention for Mariela who once again was very personable and professional in helping us, given one of us had a temporary mobility issue to deal with. We wouldn't hesitate to book again."

"The property was good and good price.. everything was good.. I recommend.."

"Despite a band playing I was able to get an early night's sleep. The room was a classic old hotel room, high ceilings, excellent space ,only a bed and bedside table. Locks were modern and secure. No lifts but a lovely old lace railed verderah. On-site parking which freed up once attendees at an afternoon function left. Easy to find by GPS and likewise to access off freeway. Bistro prices not cheap but children's werves reasonable and sufficient. Communal bathrooms adequate but require more...

"Great location was quieter than I expected. Got the small economy room for an overnight stay good parking servo next door. Comfy clean and convenient, happy days."
