"Convenient location close to Plaza Sotomayor (starting point for walking tours) and the 'tourist' hills, Cerro Alegre and Concepcion, and few minutes by Uber from the bus station. Charming old building with high ceilings and french doors in the room. Reasonably modern decor but looking a bit worn, and the textured paint in the bathrooms seems to hold a lot of dirt. "Cutest hotel I’ve been in. Love the room and decor. Location is up the hill so be prepared to climb if you walk. Uber would be a good option but we walked. Breakfast was simple. Staff were excellent. Google maps showed the correct location but announced we had arrived when we were still 1min away. Hotel is mostly below street level and not easy to see."

"The only problem we experienced was the fact that the hotel had live music in the restaurant until very late in the night. We had a very early start the next morning and did not get much sleep!"

"Boutique hotel, full of charm. Wonderful roof-top restaurant. Staff at desk very helpful. However, if you have mobility issues be aware that there are no elevators. Ask for a room on the ground floor but know that you will have to climb a long flight of stairs for the included breakfast. But it is totally worth it! Would absolutely stay again"
