"Lovely period hotel. Amazing staff. Breakfast delicious. Did have an issue with the type of room booked. Hotel very apologetic but said this was due to booking via Expedia. Would have given 5 stars otherwise."

"Beautiful 18th Century pub in quiet village location. Taken to room, lovely decor, big bed, bathroom was a little tired. Shower had no hot water when I tried at 4.30pm, thankfully had some the following morning. Had a wonderful night sleep, a shame some kind of breakfast is not included in the price. Welcoming staff and lovely locals. Would I stay again, yes. "

"The food was very good and staff great. Grace was a wonderful server. The inn is certainly olde and genuine. Not a pretend olde . Rooms are very unusual with individual names. All are separate from the pub.
Obviously the pub is the main venue for the local population.
The room was modest size but had two TVs. The shower floods the bathroom. Not a big deal."

"Very quaint pub in a quiet village - but full of life and character, obviously popular with locals and visitors alike. The staff were super friendly. Food was great. Our room was unique and full of old pub charm including sloping floors, but it was super clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom was well appointed."
