This was such a cozy little cottage with access to a GREAT beach. We very much enjoyed our stay. There were a couple minor annoyances such as the front porch light not working (and it is DARK at night). Also, guests are expected to wash their own dishes before leaving, however we arrived to cupboards full of filthy dishes neatly put away as though they were clean. After the initial dishes marathon though, everything was great. We really enjoyed having a kitchen fully stocked with cookware and utensils and having access to a clean washer and dryer right there in the home. The fireplace is a gorgeous feature in the living room, and the decor is tasteful and pleasant to come home to every evening. As a family with wide age ranges, it was also nice to have the upstairs loft for the kids to adopt as their own space. All in all, I would definitely recommend this location.

Potential

The location is pretty, though if you have any trouble walking the access to the beach is quite rocky. I was glad we didn't bring Grandma this time. The house is decorated well, but it seems like work was initially put in but then the home was not maintained. It was dirty. Cobwebs and hair everywhere (ewwww). There is no television in an area where many can watch it, which is strange because they only need to flip the table and couch to put one on the wall in the front room. The person never did come by to look at things. The name left in the house gained no response at all.

Wonderful Guest Cottage for Storm Watching

Though the weather was a bit frightful, the stay was delightful...watching the waves in a storm was exciting. Fireplace added a nice touch to take off the chill. Delightful stay! Will be coming back again.

A nice place to stay by the coast.

This is a cozy cottage. Beach access is limited on foot but it's only a short drive to the nearest beach park where the access is easy. The kitchen is fully stocked, the beds are comfortable, and the overall ambience is very nice. A friend of mine and I stayed there to celebrate our birthdays so two bedrooms worked well. I'm glad they accept pets so my little dog could come along. All in all the experience was very good.
