"Great motel but the owner handed me a $40 fine just as we were packing up as I charged my PHEV car off the plug. $2-3 cost of power but apparently is a safety issue. Paid the fine but it’s not warned about anywhere online or in person. If I had known before hand I would have happily not plugged in. If I was concerned enough to have this (unwritten) policy about the safety of my guests, I would probably prevent that risk beforehand?"

"The accommodation was great, the bed gave me a better sleep than my own (Must do something about that) However, the pull down blind on the front door allowed for voyerism. Definitely not satisfactory. Occupants of next unit had same concerns."

"Parking was really good - easy access to room etc. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Convenient location to the shops in Mosgiel. The only observation i would make is that there is nowhere in the bathroom to stack your clean cloths when you have a shower. They could have done with a simple towel/cloths rack of even a little table. Regardless we had a lovely stay thank you"

"What a wonderful stay in Dunedin! From the moment I arrived, the property had everything I could have wanted — nothing was missing. The location is absolutely perfect. Waking up to a stunning ocean view from the balcony was a real highlight, and stepping out for a morning/afternoon walk along the beach couldn't have been easier. It's also great to have coffee spots at both ends of the street — a lovely bonus whether you're heading out for the day or winding down in the evening. Great Italian...

"Had to ask for the heat to be turned on. After the room never got any warmer had to call front desk. They brought up a portable heater which did help. Turned heater off for the night and room temperature went back down by the morning. Also, it’s necessary to navigate stairs to get to room. Elevator does not open at floor level "
