Nice place to stay near caves with a small downtown area. Motel is near the train tracks but really didn’t bother us

Common area furniture was a bit tired. Excellent staff. Room very clean. BUT the eatery wasnt open the night we stayed which meant a drive to Te Kuiti for evening meal.probably would have chosen to stop in Te Kuiti if we'd known

We stayed at Rocky Mountain Chalets over Easter and spent a few days on the mountain bike tracks. It was an excellent place to stay, super close to Ohakune town with easy access to excellent cafes and restaurants. I would recommend it ans a great place to stay at any time of year.
