Excellent service and food in beautiful scenery

Excellent service, beautiful view from all rooms and delicious food. I travelled alone with 3 children (3, 9 and 12y). We had reserved full board. We were taken really good care of. The meals exceeded our expectations every time. Adults were served starter, soup, main course and dessert and kids what ever they wanted. The main cheff and the waiters were really service minded and did all they could to make every customer feel extraordinary and important. The swimming pool was big enough for swimming labs but small enough to feel chosy. The scenery to the beach and sea from the pool and the rooms was very beautiful. The beach was good for swimming but unfortunately there was trash. On the beach one could watch lokal fishermen do their job and cows walking around. The only downside of the place was that there wasn’t much else to do than just swim, eat and relax. I would happily recommend this hotel for 2-4 nights visit when wanting to rest from the outside world and relax and eat well.

Good hotel

Good hotel, good food and the service was excellent. The location is not so good for a 2 week stay, and on our balcony we had a bath which was inappropriate and was in very poor condition. I would replace the bath with comfortable seating

Unsafe,ruined xmas day. Did not honour refund

The pool area is completely unsafe! With holes of concrete and sharp edges, jagged tiles.i checked in xmas eve and out xmas day with two toddlers as was unsafe. Ruined our christmas. Was told i would be refunded now hotel are uncontactble to me and hotels.com cant refund without authorisation. Expensive unsafe liars

Modern hotel south of Colombo

27 room boutique hotel, large airy rooms with seaviews. Overall four star experience with the potential to be five star. The staff were a little mixed - some super friendly and customer service mentality, some bored, lacking in training/experience and requests were lost in translation. The evening front of house was excellent, greeting us with a welcome drink and flannel after a long drive with a twisted ankle. They upgraded our room to one with a jacuzzi on the balcony. However, when we tried to use it later in our stay we were advised it wasn't a jacuzzi (despite clearly looking like one) and only a bath... which I can only assume meant it didn't work! The room was cleaned daily, bottled water provided and beautiful turn-down service with cookies and flwers on the bed. The local food in the restaurant was delicious... pizza less so but you are in Sri Lanka! We randomly ended up talking to the head of catering for the group one evening and he arranged a cooking demonstration which was pretty much inline with the cost of the ingredients should we have ordered them for lunch. Other guests gathered around which was fine but I suspect they would have also paid to participate if they'd realised the details. Wadduwa is a bit of a strange location - a bit in the middle of nowhere between Colombo and Bentota.

Fantastic stay here!

We wanted a bit of luxury at the end of our Sri Lanka trip and were not disappointed by our stay here. I recommend you get the suite with the hot tub on the balcony and the huge bathroom! It was well worth the extra (which wasn’t that much). Service and food all very good - we would have happily stayed another night and enjoyed more of the pool and beach, which the hotel backs on to.

We liked the garden with the sunchairs (plenty of them, so little risk they will all be taken), the pool and closeness to the beach. Nice, tranquil place. Relaxing. However, 5 star it is definitely not. Maybe 4 at best. Food was average, service in the restaurant completely hopeless. Equipment in fitness room very basic, and air condition broken so it was unbearably hot. That said, I might still return if priced like a regular 3-4 star hotel, now that we know what to expect.

Lovely gardens

Stayed in hotel for three nights whilst visiting Sri Lanka. Very clean hotel , bright, spacious rooms. Not too much ch to do outside the grounds so we got on a tuk tuk twice and visited the Navro Beach resort restaurant. Great food and value for money.

Hotellpersonalen var mycket trevlig och servicen var utmärkt. Enda invändningen vi har är att hotellet borde klassas med 4 stjärnor och inte 5. Jämför tex med Taj eller Hilton i centrum av Colombo - helt allan nivå men samma antal stjärnor. Annars bra, trevligt o rent. Stranden inte i nivå med södra delen av Sri Lanka.

敷地内は静かな雰囲気で、新しいこともあり、施設も清潔でした。 スリランカのホテルにしては珍しく、水回りも全く問題なく、部屋の中の備品もすべて整っていました。 特筆すべきは、スタッフのhospitalityで、全員が気持ちのいい対応をしてくれ、満足のいくサービスを受けることができました。 レストランは、日本食メニューもあり、いろいろな種類の料理がどれもおいしかったです。 子供用プールがあり、バリアフリーの作りになっているので、小さい子供連れでも快適に過ごすことができました。 コロンボから車で1時間前後の距離で近く、お勧めです。 ジャグジー付の部屋に泊まることをお勧めします。
