"We had a great stay at Margi House. The room was beautifully furnished, and the outdoor jacuzzi was so lovely. The hill, which many mentioned, wasn’t too bad and was easily doable. The receptionist was super helpful and friendly - always with a smile on her face. Just a few things that could be improved: our coffee & water glasses weren’t cleaned until the last day. Since we didn’t have a kitchenette, this would have been nice. The main pool was lovely, but we did have to fish out a lot of bugs...

"The beach was further away than what was described and the “road” was not an actual road. The amenities ended up being less than what was listed, there are no washers, no parking, wifi sucks, etc. the pool was not clean, the food remained the same every day. It’s far from the main road. Towels were never changed, sheets never changed, never sweeper or mopped the room and we stayed for a decent time. "We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Rene. We arrived much later than planned but were welcomed so graciously and even made some food. "The apartment was kept spotlessly clean and the staff were very pleasant and helpful There was adequate Aircon across the whole of the apartment. The apartment is in an excellent location in a quiet area but on the edge of where the action is. It is easy to get to and from the apartment without any step climbs."

"Staff was very friendly and view from our small but clean, comfortable room was amazing! The downside is that you have to haul your luggage up an old stone walkway and staircase to check in at The Water hotel. Unfortunately, our bags were 50 lbs (23kg) each. Luckily, a staffer offered to take them the rest of the way to our room at The Rock, which is more old stone stairs up to an old stone walkway away. There are no elevators. Thank goodness for Alberto!"

"Just returned from a week's stay at Fengeros Village. The property is situated at the top of a very steep driveway and there are literally around a hundred steps to get to your room. The pool area is small (much smaller than it appears in the photos), with limited sunbeds. Not really child friendly due to lots of rules. The owner initially comes across as friendly but turns nasty if you do something he doesn't like ( for me that was moving to a different sunbed)."
