closed down hotel

Hotel went into receivership, was barricaded when we arrived, and Expedia debited the full amount on my card and did not want to give us any refund. Had to look for a hotel elsewhere. Worst service ever by Expedia, since they got a commission for their service and did not inform us on time about the pending close down.

Impossible de prendre la chambre. L'hôtel était désert. Impossible de joindre par téléphone. Hotel fantome.

Our stay didn't even start!

What can we say? We booked this hotel as it was close to the centre of Paris and Disneyland yet offered a French style. We arrived at 6.30/7pm with two tired young children expecting a meal in the advertised hotel. It took a while to find the hotel (no one knew of it!) and when we arrived it immediately looked worrying... The gardens were unkept and the restaurant was deserted...not even any tables! The windows were open in rooms however and the reception area looked nice enough. The door, though, was locked and despite ringing the door bell and the phone lots of times, we had to abandon our trip and search for somewhere else to stay late into the evening... really not good with a baby and toddler in toe. Shocking! I can't believe Expedia, who we made aware on the night, are still taking bookings when this place has clearly closed down!!!

Dommage

Chambre double très jolie mais sous les toits sans clim avec une température exterieure de plus 35C. Poubelle de chambre non vidée à notre arrivée.

Bien mais quelques détails agaçants.

Séjour très court, 3 heures, juste une pause après une nuit de fête de mariage. Pour mon confort personnel, j'ai trouvé la literie trop molle a mon goût. Pas d'interrupteur pour allumer la chambre, juste un lampadaire halogène ou il faut se baisser pour l'actionner car le bouton est cassé (chambre Tokyo). Un rideau de douche serait bienvenu car on éclabousse la sdb.

only one night but wrong choice on so many levels

Was hoping for a lovely last night for our first trip to Paris, booked this hotel as was advertised as 10 min from CDG Airport. Taxi driver had no idea where to find it was difficult to find and cost us 85 EU TO GET THERE FROM PARIS CENTRAL AND ANOTHER 40 EU from hotel to airport in the morning. No Restaurant as advertised although probably a good thing as rest of hotel would make you wonder, we were told to go up the road for a very average experience.

avis mitigé : confortable mais service manquant

Chambre non chauffée à mon arrivée ( erreur sur la date de réservation ) : dans cette ancienne maison + volume important du à la mezzanine, le temps de mise en chauffe de la chambre a été très long , et j'ai eu froid toute la soirée . Service minimal : 1 seule personne pour l'accueuil hôtel et restaurant ( ou petit dèj ): malgrè toute la bonne volontée affichée, cela engendre de l'attente !

Hôtel avec beaucoup de potentiel mais

Hôtel avec beaucoup de charme et de cachet mais qui vieillit. La chambre était spacieuse et confortable MAIS il faisait extrêmement froid dans la salle de bain (le chauffage n'ayant été allumé que peu de temps avant mon arrivée). De plus, l'eau pour la douche a bien mis 3 min avant de devenir tiède... Combiné au froid de la salle de bain, c'était relativement peu confortable. C'est tout à fait dommage !

Una faceta de París diferente!

Le Parc D'Eden es un hotel situado muy cerca del aeropuerto, pero en dirección opuesta a la ciudad. Está en una villa de 600 habitantes, rodeada por un bosque frío y húmedo. El hotel solían ser las habitaciones de servicio de un pequeño castillo que queda justo enfrente de una terraza maravillosa para cenar. Las habitaciones son cómodas y para los estándares franceses, amplias! Definitivamente me parece la mejor opción para osara una noche entre vuelo y vuelo. Te ahorras el eterno tráfico a París y muchos Euros del taxi/shuttle o similar. Sin duda, regresaremos!!!!

One of the nicest and best value near the CDG

Lovely hotel in a quiet village fairly close to the airport. Manager spoke English and was accommodating as he could be given that he was also the server in the restaurant at the same time. So we had a bit of a wait to be checked in. Then he told me that although I had prepaid, the price was a mistake and I had to pay more. I see that you don't want to actually know the real experience; I'll remember that.

De buitenkant en de receptie voorspelden weinig goeds maar het vriendelijke onthaal en de kamer maakten alles meer dan goed. Kamer was zeer net en volledig in lijn met hetgeen er aangeboden was op de website; goede bedden, sanitair proper en in goede staat; meer dan voldoende warm water (ook voor enkele baden en douches na elkaar). Ook relatief rustig ondanks de nabijheid van de luchthaven Charles De Gaulle. Een minpuntje was dat de ingang van het hotel moeilijk te vinden is vooral 's nachts; geen neonreclames of grote reclameborden, enkel een piepklein bordje met een verwijzing naar een smalle inrijpoort.

Fantastic service

Hotel situated 6.5 km next to the CDG Airport. Very quite location and friendly service could characterize this place. Mainly suited to business travelers but also OK for family getaway if you have car. Clean rooms, free Wi-Fi and optional breakfast. We've enjoyed our stay at the place.

Lovely place to stay

A nice hotel with friendly staff. We came to visit france especially paris by motorbike. That place we could imagine it is like eden. The manager is friendly and helpfull. The rooms are big and clean. Of course you have to ride a bit to paris and you hear the planes but we knew this before. But therefore you have space all around. And the area brings you back to old time of kings and princesses. The hotel offers also a bar and a restaurant. We just tried tried the coffee at the bar. All in all we would come back.

Hôtel dans un Parc

Nous avons découvert l'Hôtel au détour d'un virage et avons été tout d'abord surpris, voire inquiets, par le manque criant d'entretien du Parc...et la longue attente avant d'être pris en charge! L'on fut conduit à la Chambre par M.le Gérant:c'est chose désormais bien rare!Celle-ci était fort convenable, malgré une décoration de type oriental à laquelle nous ne sommes guère accoutumés.Le dîner nous donna satisfaction, autant par la qualité des mets que par l'attention du Responsable de la salle...qui compensa aisément l'inconséquence, pour ne pas dire l'impolitesse de sa collaboratrice!Dommage de devoir signaler ce type de comportement propre à faire fuir la clientèle...

Fantastic place

15 minutes away from Charles de Gaulle airport, this hotel is truly great. Everything is perfect. The owners are two very nice brothers who take great care of their hotel. The restaurant is awesome. We were delighted with the upscale food.We highly recommend this hotel in a small countryside village. A very quiet place before (or after) travelling. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the hotel as well as of the restaurant.
