"Hotel was beautiful Breakfast was outstanding Staff was fantastic Elmirs pizza across the street was super delicious Parking down ramp, towards water is free!! Don't pay across street. Bed super soft, free coffee and tea in lobby. Lovely place to stay."

"Extreme itchiness from the sheets on the bed - could hardly sleep due to it. VERY THIN WALLS and could hear everything in the next room. I asked to be switched to a different room but did not receive a timely response (there are no staff onsite - remote only). I asked for a partial refund and was denied. You are also fairly far from the center of Alesund. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE."

"My family stayed 1 night at Alnes Gard during our trip to Norway. We stayed here as a base to see Alesund and so glad we did! This place is a lovely little gem and we had fun exploring the small island. We saw lovely rainbows, experienced a beautiful ocean sunset, and went on a great hike! Would highly recommend this place! "Cooktop wasn’t working Toilet wasn’t flushing No elevator Tried to contact host , was always delayed on response We were excited to cook and have homemade meals, no response from host on time , end up eating out dinner and breakfast, cost almost 1000 host had excuses about been in touch with us , we had my phone number and email that they could contact and on top of that they were texting me So they would have help me or call me We were so tired of our road trip , wanted to have food cooked...
