The street outside was under construction at the time of our visit,but it was still an amazing hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were spacious and clean. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Not at all luxurious as indicated in the description - but cozy, friendly and well located just behind Karlsplatz. Spacious room with kitchenette. I will happily stay next time (and hope that the tram is closed then as well, if not - it might be noisy).

This is a small hotel in an old building; reasonably modern rooms. Don't look for luxury here: just a comfortable and friendly stay. WiFi access is peculiar: only one device per room, and variable signal strength. The staff are first rate; friendly, helpful, efficient; and the standards of maintenance are excellent. But it's really all about location: the area has many good restaurants, beer gardens, and cafes; the street is served by three S-Bahn lines with very frequent service; and two stops on the U1 metro line are within 5-15 minutes walk. And it's just outside the major tourist zone, so it is quiet, but Stephansplatz, the centre of the city, is a half hour walk away. The Naschmarkt is about 12-15 minutes away on foot. Karlsplatz, a major UBahn intersection, is just 15 minutes up the street. I recommend this hotel as much for its location as for the quality of the the business itself.

Nice that the two beds were separated into separate rooms for a little privacy. Only one of four hotels we stayed at that had that feature. One wish list thing. The hotel clearly describes the full breakfast buffet for 25 euros but it certainly would be nice if they also had an al a cart or continental offering. My crew starts the day light with a pastry and a coffee before heading out for the day and couldn't justify spending 25 euro for that. And where this was located I didn't see any breakfast alternatives near the place.

Solid Location and Great Value

The hotel is perfectly located between the Vienna Main Train Station and Old Town, making everything very walkable. The room was very spacious and clean. Only complaint I had is the WiFi was unreliable whenever I attempted to catch-up with work. Otherwise the hotel was great!

Unsere Erfahrung im Hotel war leider nicht zufriedenstellend. Wir hatten ein Zimmer für zwei Erwachsene und drei Kinder (7, 11, 13 Jahre) gebucht, erhielten jedoch zunächst ein Zimmer mit nur zwei Doppelbetten. Das freundliche Personal bemühte sich umgehend um eine Lösung und stellte uns schließlich ein zweites Zimmer zur Verfügung. Die Sauberkeit des Hotels entsprach aber leider nicht dem erwarteten 4-Sterne-Standard: 1. In einem Zimmer war der Zigarettengeruch trotz Lüftens sehr penetrant, da er sich in Vorhängen, Teppichboden und Sesseln festgesetzt hatte. 2. Wir fanden gebrauchte Strumpfhosen neben dem Bett, vermutlich von einem vorherigen Gast. 3. Der Mülleimer war bei unserer Ankunft bereits halb gefüllt. 4. In der Badewanne befanden sich Haare früherer Gäste. 5. Ein Teller in der Mikrowelle war nicht gereinigt worden. 6. Die Badezimmertür wies zahlreiche Flecken auf und zeigte deutliche Feuchtigkeitsschäden. Obwohl das Personal sehr zuvorkommend war, entsprach die allgemeine Sauberkeit und der Zustand der Zimmer nicht unseren Erwartungen an ein 4-Sterne-Hotel. Eine gründlichere Reinigung und Instandhaltung wären wünschenswert.
