From booking our stay, to the very helpful front desk (Rebecca?), to the beautiful cabin we stayed in, everything was great. My husband and I both agreed the locals were very welcoming. We had our first pepperoni rolls at Sweetwater General Store, what a gem! I think we'll be back with friends!

The cabin itself was suffient, but not extraordinary. Location was great! Eveything is the resort was walkable, trails nearby, and lots of activities to do. The pool was really pretty and clean. Coffe shop, dinning and pool on site was excellent. Fayetteville was a short drive to out of the resort to eat.

We stayed off season in early November in a Kaymoor cabin like a hotel room duplex. Staff were super helpful and nice. Cabin was modern and clean. Water not quite as hot as you’d like in bathroom and the window AC/Heater could not be placed on “constant fan” so it was kicking on and off every few minutes waking us up. It was cool enough in evening to just turn it off. Cabin had microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Overall good and we would return. We did not use any of the amenities of the resort (white water rafting or etc) as we were here for hiking - but the front desk had trail maps and detailed descriptions of directions for the local places. Nice and would visit again.

OUR SINGLE UNIT cabin was very nicely crafted. Heater in bedroom was appreciated to take the chill off the October experience. Although the cabin was exceptionally clean and I could smell the cleaning chemicals, there was an overwhelming smell of wet dog so I just didn't use the couch. Can there be cabins with NO PETS please. Also, finding the right way to CHECK IN AFTER HOURS in the dark is impossible. Can there please be instructions on Expedia and BRIGHTLY LIT ARROWS to point the way with prior explanation in an email. The gracious night security figured it out for us.

We loved the quiet 'cabin in the woods' experience. We built a fire outside at night. There were deer feeding in the campground near our cabin. But then we had the feel of a comfortable hotel room inside with all the amenities.

Aside from the atmosphere of being nestled away in the woods, the adventures and activities they have to iffer are amazing. Especially, the gravity zipline tour. Ryan, Cam, and Heidi were amazing guides!!! We had such a blast!

Great for families. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Onsite activities were awesome and staff/West Virginia folks were the nicest people. Fayetteville town was great and we enjoyed Cathedral for breakfast and Cantrall’s for chili dogs. Hotel would be beyond perfect if they added a hot tub and game room for kids! A fantastic and peaceful getaway surrounded by nature I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The area is absolutely beautiful – peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. What stood out most was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. From check-in to check-out, the staff were always friendly, helpful, and courteous, making me feel right at home. There's no shortage of attractions either. The area is full of attractions and great opportunities for activities, whether you enjoy hiking, cycling, or simply sightseeing. Nearby restaurants and shops also offer a wide selection, so there's something for everyone. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing yet active getaway in the great outdoors.

It was so clean and peaceful. I loved that the property ambiance gives you that woodsy/cabin feel but it contains very clean and high-quality grounds. Staff at reception was helpful. Note that you may need a car to navigate within the resort, meaning from your cabin to the check-in building and pool areas.
