"The beach is a hike through deep loose sand. Older adults struggled. Once there limited chairs and umbrellas. Great for swimming far out reef stops strong break. Beach is in a cove like area. So very small waves breaking 3-4 ft from shore. Pool very small. Sun deck great. Breakfast well stocked. Parking limited spaces only fit compact and are very difficult for trucks or vans."
"5-star experience! This was just a short two-night stay, but it checked all of the boxes for a luxurious escape. We were met with a glass of champagne when we checked in; cold towels and frozen grapes were a welcome surprise at the pool in the July heat; the coffee in the lobby at 7am was a delicious way to wake up, along with a walk on the beach. The beach chairs and umbrellas were waiting for us each day. There were plenty of fun activities to engage in, but we were just happy reading our books and walking the beach. When we got tired of that, we went to the pool, where attendants brought us chair covers and towels. Waiters checked on us at the pool and the beach to see if they could bring us anything. The restaurant offered Cuban and American dishes, with the Cuban foods being fun to try. I loved having the door opened for me as I arrived or left the property. The staff was very helpful and friendly the entire time. I can't wait to return. Thank you, Costa d'Este :-)"
"The staff at this hotel is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet has a different menu each day. The pool is very large. I have been to several hotels in the area and this pool, by far, is the best. I would recommend anyone to stay here!"
"My wife and I stayed 4 days. Room was great. Very friendly staff. Easy Beach access. Pool bar and restaurant were awesome. Hotel is kept very clean.
I would definitely recommend it. This is the kind of hotel that you keep in mind for future returns...."
