"The hotel is lovely; we stayed in one of the casitas that had a living room with fireplace, kitchen, bedroom and bath. Think large wooden beams like a forest cottage. The views out our windows were of the lake and mountains beyond. The hotel has an outdoor pool, sauna and hot tub. The dining room is the same wooden beam design with a large fireplace and great views. The staff is very friendly and helpful."
"Just amazing! Clean, secluded, quiet and has everything you need. The heated pool and hot tub were a major win for us! Oh, and the heated floors. We will definitely be back! Thank you! "
"The lodge is in a beautiful setting and staff were very helpful. It was a bit remote from the main part of Bariloche, and driving in and out through the security gate was a mess. We were stopped and questioned nearly every time we entered and exited, even though they had all of our documentation and face recognition data on hand. Their system needs a serious update."
"Large bedroom separated from the living room and dining area. Large bathroom with hot tub heated floors. Great wifi.
The full kitchen: fridge, sink, stove, toaster and microwave were great to relax outside with some hot beverages. The floor has amonite fossils. The hotel has a telescope and upon coordination they brought an astronomer. She was very knowledgeable and gave us an hour of observation and explanation of what we were watching in English and Spanish. The staff are very nice and helpful in suggesting good activities in the area. Breakfast was delivered to our room between 8-10am upon coordination with the front desk.
The location is not in the city, about a 15min drive to the city which makes it much more quiet and nice. The views are spectacular especially in the mornings."
Villa Beluno Hotel & Spa, small luxury hotels of the world
2/10 Terrible
"Do not stay here.
Grossly overpriced. We were literally the only single guests in the entire hotel which was incredibly creepy and made us feel unsafe. The owners of the hotel live there, and they were about the property throughout our stay which was weird.
They are terrible at communication and messed up a lot of things for us, which cost us real money as well. Their concierge efforts are horrible and communication was very difficult.
This was also the middle of their high season so there are no excuses. Incredibly Understaffed and it felt like a ghost town there.
The property is very beautiful; that is the only redeeming part of Villa Beluno.
They also ruined multiple very nice garments of clothing of mine after I sent them out for dry cleaning, to which they then washed and folded instead, completely ruining the garments. They acknowledged the error that they made multiple times, After then promising to pay for them, they have no informed me that they won’t be doing so. Borderline criminal.
They also refused to open the gate for me to leave the property for not wanting to sign the additional charges for the stay, which felt like they were holding me hostage. Again, felt very unsafe and bizarre.
Low class individuals in the owners. I gave them every chance to redeem themselves but they failed at every juncture and that is their own judgement call. "
