great place if you are going to bajos del toro. great view of volcano, loved the jacuzzi. perfect for travel group. breakfast was a little bit expesive at 3500 colones for gallo pinto

A very unique, rural setting with a lovely Mountain View. Structure is unusual, quite comfortable and offers privacy. The jacuzzi tub is a real plus although unfortunately the available water is warm, not hot. Maria and her husband are extremely helpful and welcoming.

The couple who owns the place was very nice, accommodating and friendly. You have to pay attention when you first arrive, as the area is not marked very well. the beds were very comfortable and the view from the balcony was perfect.

Everything was perfect. The hosts were so kind and helpful, the location was beautiful, peaceful, and quiet; the cabin was clean, well-equipped and very comfortable. I would highly recommend this place for couples looking for a quiet getaway closer to nature. I would give Pablo and Maria more than 5 stars if I could.

We stayed here for one night, and it was lovely. Supper and breakfast were great, and soaking in the jacuzzi while listening to all the birds, cicadas and other animals was very relaxing. The view from the back deck and hammock was incredible when the clouds went away! It was great to relax with a book. There were a few decent spiders we had to kill, but otherwise this place is amazing! Maria helped us sign up for the ATV tour next door, which was a fun excursion to do - especially playing/swimming in the river! Any tourists from away, make sure to wear thin long sleeves, and lots of sunscreen!
