"I really enjoyed my stay at the Alpine. The hotel is nicely decorated, in Swiss themes, very warm and classy decor. Room was very clean, shower was amazing, and plenty of heating in the room if needed. Breakfast was excellent, with variety and great coffee. Overall service was very friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the restaurant. Easy access to the hotel, public transport stops in front in both directions. "This hotel is aged. Pain peeling, furniture faded and knocked and carpets from a bygone era. Car parking is in the town on a public street which entails carrying luggage a long way to the hotel rail shuttle and then again onto the hotel reception. The rooms are terrible. Very dated. The bed base on the floor with a thin mattress atop a 15cm high base. You don't so much step out of bed when you get above a certain age, as roll out. The bed sagged to so didn't provide comfort.
