Our stay was wonderful! The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient, just a 2-minute walk from the beach. The food was delicious, and the staff were warm and hospitable. The only drawback was that one of the dishes we ordered took a long time to be served.

Nice relaxing stay

Nice property with lot of amenities like swimming pool, games etc. Direct access to beach possible. Chairs are provided at the beach, however they are just outside of the property and would have been nice to be ahead. Staff is helpful. However response time was much more on Saturday than on other days, possibly due to rush of tourists.

An Honest Review • Property Location: Exquisite • Service: Top-notch • Food: Delicious This property truly offers a luxurious experience. I recently visited the Royal Orchid property, and from the moment I arrived, the experience was exceptional. At check-in, I was warmly welcomed by Fransquinha at the front desk. She went out of her way to arrange a pre-check-in room for us, as my wife is six months pregnant. Fransquinha took great care of us throughout our stay until the moment we checked out. We also had the pleasure of meeting Chef Sam, Manager Ashish, and their fantastic team – Mohit, Jolivon, and Jonathan. They were all well-prepared and committed to delivering top-notch service. Chef Sam and Ashish recommended some amazing food combinations. I genuinely suggest opting for the full board when booking this property – the food is a must-try. Traditional music while having breakfast is something peaceful and magical. Room service, the swimming pool, and other amenities were extremely efficient and quick. The only minor concern is that the rooms are a bit small. However, the aesthetics are beautiful, with attention to detail and thoughtful design throughout.

Property rooms are just ok in size but beds are small for 2 adults. House cleaning staff came very late for cleaning and didn't change the bedsheet. In night they opened karoke in dining area and it was all too noisy which created headache as 3-4 persons were trying to sing in horrible sound and rhythm. Overall I feel it's not worth value for money

Mostly disappointing- but the kitchen!

The room had a special inconvenient smell when entering. The pool is only 4 feet deep, but still very easy to see that the water was everything but clean. Check out was… the longest check-out experience I’ve ever had - 52 minutes. No late check out possible, despite the resort was practically empty. BUT the resort had a very knowledgeable and helpful chef - all honor to him!

First the good things: The staff here is amazing! Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Also, the food served at the restaurant is very good and the people working there are awesome! The splash pad and pool are also nice. What needs improving: The kids playground is old and peeling. There is an extra charge for all of the kids activities - there is a trampoline, archery, etc. I paid $300 per room (which I later found out was way above what other guests paid - my bad!), so I definitely felt like that should've all been included. Also, the beach has several local bars on it, so there is litter strewn all over and it's very loud. If I had it to do over, I would stay at the Kenilworth, which is right next door. I should mention that we did eat twice over at the Kenilworth and the staff was not nearly as friendly and accommodating as at Royal Orchid. If you get a good rate on this hotel (some of the guests said they paid $150), then I think it would be considered a good deal. For $300/night, it was a rip off.

The resort looks nice in the pictures posted but when you are on the property it’s average. The buffet area’s layout is terrible for the amount of foot traffic. Keep in mind if you eat at the buffet at lunch or dinner, your bill will include a service charge. The servers won’t tell you if you leave a tip. Also if you want to go to the beach area, the staff tell you not to take the towels there because of the sand. Isn’t that the whole point of having a beach towel?? Also don’t order room service. They will send you the wrong orders, then send you the correct one when you call down but charge you for both orders. When you bring it up to the front desk’s attention… they have a group huddle with all the staff members and try to blame it on you. Asking if the signature is ours and that we signed both copies. Just a complete waste of time. I’m sure there are better resorts in goa with better service.

THIS IS A SCAM. I DON'T KNOW HOW THIS PROPERTY IS LISTED AS A 5 STAR PROPERTY HERE ON EXPEDIA. DO NOT FALL FOR THE IMAGES! The rooms were not cleaned up at all. The bed had sand on it. We reported this to the housekeeping and they said they cleaned our rooms. We came back to the rooms only to find stains (blood-like) on the bed linen. My parents who were staying in another room had a lizard rolled into their bedsheet. My mom was not able to sleep that night. The bathroom was not even cleaned to the basic level. It had stuff used by previous guests. There were earbuds on the dirty bathroom floor. The floor was not cleaned when we entered the rooms. It had dust and sand all over. The bathroom did not have basic toiletries like body wash and shampoo on the 1st day even after multiple requests. The bathroom shower was leaking water right into the room even after closing the door properly. The bathroom sink had stains from the previous guests which we had to clean ourselves before using. The fridge was dirty, we cleaned it ourselves. Yet it was not clean enough to use.

Hôtel très bien situé, beau jardin, belle plage à 200 m de marche à travers le jardin. Plusieurs bars et restaurants sur la plage. Le staff est très sympa et accueillant. Seul gros bemol, cet hôtel est vieux, très vieux, très très vieux. Les chambres sont propres mais d'un autre âge. La seule chose qui provient de ce millenaire est la TV ecran plat.... Dommage. Dans ces conditions clairement pas du 5* mais un 3* correct. Mais une fois renové de fond en comble j'y retournerais volontiers.

Beautiful beach property

One of the best stays in Goa, I consider it more like a 4star property. Rooms are old and fans and lights were dirty. Bed was comfortable and toilet was clean. Approach to beach has water logging. Service in the restaurant was very good.
