Grand Hotell Hörnan has the charm of a small old-line hotel. The location is very convenient to the railroad station as well as to the attractions of the university and the cathedral. The hotel has a comfortable little lounge and a pleasant dining room for breakfast and light meals. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Lovely historic hotel

This is a lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast. The rooms are a little small, but there is lots of comfortable space available downstairs in the bar and breakfast room for relaxing. Excellent downtown location.

We enjoyed our stay at the Grand Hotel Hornan. We had a beautiful view of the Cathedral spires, river, and rooftops from our small but very comfortable room. Every was clean and in good condition. Petter and Ishmam at the front desk went above and beyond to help gather information on (Ingmar) Bergman filming locations in the city and even prepared a summary cross-referenced with a local map. I'm a big "Fanny and Alexander"/Bergman fan and really appreciated their help as they added more than I'd found on the internet before leaving the States. The hotel's location is excellent and close to everything. Definitely recommend having a cup of tea or cocktail in the lovely lounge with its high ceiling and pretty decor. Hope to stay here again for future Bergman festivals.

Grand hotel atmosphere

We keep coming back to this wonderfull and picturesque hotell. It has the atmosphare of an old time grand hotel. Breakfast is top notch, everything tastes yummu.
