"We cycled to the motel so were unable to bring our own food. The motel is a few miles from the nearest restaurant - too far to cycle for a meal out. The manager kindly offered to buy food for us which was there on our arrival. We grilled the sausages on the gas grill. There were tables and chairs next to the grill and undercover. We later sat around a fire. The wood was provided free of charge. Overall we had a very pleasant stay. "
"Place was clean when we arrived. Pet friendly is a plus. Quiet neighborhood. Place has a pool. Theres grills where you can bbq and chairs where you can chill outside your room. It’s pretty cool. Only few resto around it though. Will go back again at this place. "
"Snow Cap Inn was perfect!! My husband and I stayed here for one night in March for a last minute ski trip to Sunday River. The rooms were clean and cute. Loved the hot chocolate station and the warm choc chip cookies! Staff was so friendly and nice, will definitely be back! "
"This property is a treasure. We stumbled upon it as we were coming out of Maine late at night. It is a historic property with an antique elevator and metal keys for each room. The grounds are beautiful and the workers were hard at work to keep it up. There were signs of wear, but we were still impressed and expressed the desire to bring my mother-in-law who would definitely enjoy the historic aspect. The area around this property in NH is gorgeous. We will be back. I will say my 18 year old son...
"This has been our favorite hotel of the Sunday River area. We went in August and they had the pool at probably 94F, easy to walk in and relax for a while. Each night they had a nice diy drink setup with instructions. Each night the outdoor fire place was going - one night was marshmallows to roast.. the other night full on smores. Internet was fast. The room clean and quiet. Beds were spring mattresses which were hard to get used to from home. Front desk guy was very friendly and...
"This is the second time we stayed at the Wildcat Inn. We ate in the tavern and played trivia, which was a lot of fun (the questions were challenging). We had a drink under the stars in the lovely garden in the back, and the staff supplied us with a nice warm blanket.
The atmosphere is very cozy, and the staff are all very friendly. We wish we could have stayed longer."
