"Haslem is an absolutely beautiful hotel, our room was really nice with everything we needed including a fridge. For breakfast there were the usual offerings of scrambled eggs, bacon etc. and the cold section had yoghurts, cold meat, cheese etc. We didn’t drink in the bar but on our arrival it was buzzing with entertainment going on, the bar area is stunning. The hotel/bar/restaurant is a total vibe and a brilliant addidtion to Lisburn Square . "
"This was one of the highlights of our 3 week stay in the UK. Gorgeous old house, massive room decorated beautifully, spotlessly clean and gorgeous grounds. John our host was lovely and cooked us delicious breakfasts. Also lovely surrounds with a donkey across the road who loved a pat, and some cats on the property who loved a cuddle. Highly recommend."
"Edwin was fantastic, he made us feel very welcome from the moment we got there. The property is beautiful and a short walk to a lovely lakeside look out where we watched the sunset (Edwin's recommendation). The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed chatting to Edwin each morning over the delicious breakfast he cooked us (with fresh bread and eggs from his gorgeous ducks!) and the meal easily sustained us throughout the day which was perfect. He always had...
"Noel and Cathy were the perfect hosts, and the property is a gem of a place to stay! From the spacious, clean rooms to the personal touches, our first night in Ireland couldn’t have been more pleasant. The grounds are beautiful (we enjoyed meeting the dogs, cat, and horses!), and being in such a beautiful setting helped start our trip perfectly! Thank you, Noel and Cathy!"
"We only booked one night as we didn’t know how long we needed to stay due to a family situation. The hotel kept our room open whether we used it or not and only charge for the days we are here at discounted rates. All staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and hugely empathetic. "
"The front desk staff at House Hotel Belfast was extremely helpful and friendly. Easily our best experience with hotel staff during our 2 weeks in Ireland. The area has many options for dining and is a short walk from Queens University and botanical gardens as well as the local transit train with easy access to the airport. "
"What a fantastic hotel all round, the staff are really helpful and food in the wolf Hall restaurant was amazing and the rooms are spacious and clean
I would definitely stay there again."
"Clean and new hotel in a very convenient city center location. The basic hotel room was quite large by European standards. Appreciated the access to laundry facilities and the well equipped gym."
"Great location, 15 min walk into central Belfast, local amenities lots of options and open late which was great
Room was ok (room 5), walls really thin so take ear plugs to block out televisions and snorers
Kitchen facilities limited, and smelt really damp.
Needs a deep clean overall and if you leave food in the fridge it is at your own risk, ours was stolen on the first night.
