"Visited during heatwave and had issue with air conditioning not working properly. Problem rectified quickly after reporting to reception staff, who also offered another room - also in an alternative hotel - as initially thought maintenance staff may not be available straight away. Was also advised to that I could write to hotel management if not satisfied and ask for a refund. That qualifies as good service for me."

"We loved the Platzl hotel! This will be our go-to hotel in Munich. The location was wonderful - just a block from Marienplatz, Hofbrau house and walking distance from everything in Old Town. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, and they kindly upgraded our room and even gave us an extra bottle of wine and cakes and wrote us a nice card. The amenities were great - wonderful bathroom and shower. When we needed extra water it was always available in the lobby if you asked for it, or in the spa. We will definitely be back!"
